against cirrhosis of the l-iver on AugusL 25,

TIHEREAS, the officiars and residents of Naga are saddened by
the passing of a nobl-e Naguef,o who devoted his life for the greater
glory of Our Lord;

significantly touched the fives of his .\
fellow Nagueios and Eilipinos as a devoted priest of the

Archdiocese of Caceres;
IYHERBAS, horn on August 26, 1957 in Naga city, his formational_

years were spent as student of the university of Nueva caceres,
until he decided to heed the call- of being a pious servant of God
and entered the HoIy Rosary Minor Seminari;
ItrrEREAs, ordained on May 30, 1982, some of major assignments
of the late Msgr. Luis Jonie v. Aguirre, H.p. were priest-iormator
of the HoIy Rosary Major Seminary (L9B'l-199j); Rector of the Holy
Rosary Minor Seminary, (1991-2003); parish priest of the St.
Anthony of Padua Parish, rriga city (2003-2013) and parish priest
of the st. Joseph Parish, san Jose, camarines sur (2013-2014);
he honoured the Lord by addressing not only the
spiritual needs but al-so the temporal aspirations of his flock,
serving, on countl-ess occasions, 4s a mentor, ds a brother, and as
a friend to Naguefros and other Bicol-anos in need;

IIIIEREAS, the passing of Msgr. Luis Jonie V. Aguirre, H.p. is
a great .loss to his family, reratives, friends and to the faithfur
of the Catholic Church, as well as to the society as a whole;

the city Government of Naga join the bereaved. family and the whol_e
Roman catholic church, especialry the Archdiocese of caceres, in
offering fervent prayers for the eternal repose of the late Msgr.
