A victory in memory of Harold Brown
One day after grandfather's funeral, Mitch Brown wins at
Ohsweken Speedway
By Sean Allen -Brant News
Mitch Brown still had a heavy heart on Friday when he strapped into his sprint
car at Ohsweken Speedway.
Harold Brown – Mitch's grandfather – died last Sunday. His funeral was last
Thursday, just 24 hours before the race.
HAROLD BROWN
1934 - 2014
Harold was a lifelong racing fanatic, having made a name for himself at the track
in the 1960s and 1970s. He passed along the passion to his son Doug, as well as
grandsons Mitch and Jake.
"All my life, he'd do anything to be at the race track with us," Mitch Brown said.
"It was going through my head that this was the first time he wasn't
there…wasn't here with us."
It was only fitting that Mitch would make a dramatic pass of the leader on the
second-last lap to claim his first Corr/Pak Merchandising 360 Sprint Cars victory
of the season in Ohsweken.
Mitch Brown climbed
atop his 360 Sprint Car
to celebrate his victory
at Ohsweken Speedway
on Friday night.
He said the victory in the feature race was cathartic for the
whole family.
"The last four weeks have been really tough on everybody,"
Mitch said. "I think everyone in my family was there at the
track on Friday to unwind and relax a little. It was great to
win with everybody close to us there."
Mitch came third in his qualifying heat to squeeze into the
finale race.
Trailing eventual runner-up Shane Ross for most of the finale,
it looked like Mitch was destined for second place with five
laps to go in the 20-lap feature when a caution came out.
for Brant News.
"There was a lapped car between us and I thought that was
it," he said. "But I knew if I could get by the lapped car quickly
after the caution, I still had a shot."
That's exactly what happened. Mitch moved back into
position behind Ross, then took the lead on the second turn
of Lap 18 to earn the checkered flag.
During Mitch's victory speech, there were some moist eyes in the crowd at
Ohsweken Speedway.
"The only reason I'm here is because of that man," he told the crowd. "I loved
him and I know all you did, too. We thank you for all the support."

A good man has left us...
The victory moved Mitch into second place in the Corr/Pak
Merchandising 360 Sprint Cars standings at Ohsweken
Speedway – just 26 points behind leader Glenn Styres.
Harold Brown, the patriarch of the Brown racing family,
passed away Sunday July 13th, 2014 following a long
battle with cancer.
I had known Harold since his early racing days when he
competed with the #1-10 and nickname "Little-Ben"
emblazoned on his Supermodified cars at Toronto's CNE Raceway, Bridgeport
Nilestown and Delaware Speedways and later at Flamboro Speedway and
Oswego Speedway in upstate New York. When he later turned to Late Model
racing, I was there as well watching him win his share of races and becoming
a fan favorite around the Southern Ontario circuit.
When I became his brother-in-law back in 1964 - I had the pleasure of getting
to know him not only as a racer, but also as my best friend.
I was there when his son Doug got into the sport of stock car racing following
his successful career in motocross. And so that association continues today
through his grandsons Mitch and Jake albeit this time on dirt ovals instead of
pavement.
I have been a devout supporter of the Brown family's racing programs and
hopefully will continue to do so through my reporting of their activities in this
publication and subsequent press releases distributed to the local media, fans
and certainly the business sponsors who continue to support their racing
endeavours.
Mitch has also been quite successful on other tracks this season,
picking up three wins already at Brighton Speedway to lead the
Southern Ontario Sprints.
"We've been doing really well," he said. "We are right out in
front with a lot of guys who've been doing this way longer than I
have, so it's nice to keep getting that experience that will keep
me there with them."
Mitch's brother Jake finished fifth place at the track last Friday
in the Strickland's GMC Crate Sprint Cars division – the feeder
division for the 360 sprints.
Mitch and Jake were asked to do a memorial lap in memory of
Harold before the races on Friday.
Jake is in third place in the point standings for the crate sprint
division's inaugural season.
Harold's last personal attendance at Ohsweken Speedway was
on June 6, when Jake won his first race of the season.
But in trying to compose a story to capture the results and emotions
surrounding the events of last Friday (July 18th) at Ohsweken
Speedway, just 24 hours following the funeral of the Harold Brown -I
must confess I found it to be a daunting task.
After all, my best friend was no longer there to accompany me.
Thankfully, Sean Allen of the Brant News captured those moments
extremely well in the touching article appearing on page 1 and
continuing here on page 2 of this publication.
A very fine Obituary by Susan Gamble of the Brantford Expositor
reveals more about this long serving business proprietor, well-known
racer and family man.
--------------------------------------------The Brown family wish to acknowledge Ohsweken Speedway's owners
and staff for the memorable tributes they provided to the July 18th
program through their pre-race minute of silence for Harold Brown
and the emotional parade lap with Mitch and his brother Jake at the
head of the field...a truly "Class Act" from a classy group of people.
And Thanks also to Dale Calnan, Gary Eves, Bill Oldroyd and Peter Anderson
who provided several of the photos appearing in this publication.
What a terrific group of people to make my work so enjoyable.

Harold Brown (standing between his son Doug and his grandsons Jake and
Mitch) last stepped onto the race track back on June 6, 2014 - the night his
grandson Jacob won his first ever feature race in a Sprint Car. Jake's car carries
the same name and number "Little Ben -1-10 as his grandfather ran back in his
Supermodified racing days.

OBITUARY: Harold Brown, 1934-2014
By Susan Gamble, Brantford Expositor
Wednesday, July 16, 2014
The patriarch of the Brown racing family, Harold Brown, died Sunday after a long
battle with cancer.
Mr. Brown, 79, a stock car racer, was also the founder of Brown Auto Service, an
Eagle Place business institution.
“He had four loves in his life,” said his brother-in-law Ken Spencer.
“They were his wife, his family, his business and motor sports.”
Known as an honest and talented mechanic, Mr. Brown built the business over the
years and was followed in his work by his son, Doug Brown, and grandsons Mitch and
Jake Brown.
“During the past six decades, Harold extended the life of many a vehicle with his mechanical magic,” said longtime friend Peter Ham. “And
he always demonstrated a keen awareness of his client's financial status and flashed his trademark smile.”
Brown Auto Service is more of a going concern than ever these days and could “last another 50 years,” says his son. Even with his advanced
years and health problems, Mr. Brown loved to be at the shop where he would greet old friends and chat to customers.
The same family members who followed Mr. Brown into business trailed after him into the world of racing, following the circuit from April to
September where the four Browns gathered a team of fans and helpers.
“He had a passion for racing that he passed on to me and to my sons,” said Doug Brown.
Mr. Brown was a steady player in the game, winning his share of races and even more admirers for his calm, gentlemanly demeanour.
“He didn't let the highs be too high or the lows too low,” said his son.
“He went to his last race on June 6 and it was the night my youngest son, Jake, won his first race. It was pretty cool that he got to see that.” In
business, Mr. Brown was as loyal to his customers as they were to him, often working late into the evening to ensure their happiness.
He doted on his wife of 53 years, Gloria, and they enjoyed cooking or creating crafts together. She died in May last year.
“As a young man, he was a pretty hip guy with a hot set of wheels and a mischievous grin,” said his brother-in-law.
“He spent a lot of time courting (his wife). They danced and even skated on occasion at various spots and arenas in the area.”
Through the years, Mr. Brown also supported his children in their non-racing passions, attending numerous hockey games when Doug
played and frequenting and volunteering at daughter Susan's figuring skating.
Aside from his son Doug Brown (Lori) and daughter Susan Brown (Scott), Mr. Brown also leaves his grandchildren, Mitchell, Jacob, Benjamin
and Aiden, and sister Joyce Teasdale.
A celebration of Mr. Brown's life will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at Dennis Toll Funeral Home, 55 Charing Cross St. with interment to follow
at Mount Hope Cemetery.
The family has asked that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made in memory of Mr. Brown to the Stedman Community Hospice.

MITCH BROWN SCORES THIRD IN A ROW AT BRIGHTON
Bittersweet Win After Problems at Ohsweken
July 14, 2014
Mitch Brown scored his third straight A-Main Feature win at Brighton Speedway on
Saturday night (July 12th) in Southern Ontario Sprints action out duelling Glenn
Styres of Ohsweken in the 25-lap chase
around the 1/3rd-mile clay oval in the
Belleville/Quinte area in Southern
Ontario.
Brown started on the pole for the main
event and bolted to the lead quickly
over front row co-starter Paul
Pekkenonen of Brockville with Styres
charging up quickly from his second row
starting spot to challenge the Brantford
competitor for the lead.
Despite a group of restarts before the
halfway point, punctuated by a red flag
at lap 13 when Shawn Sliter rolled on
his side in turn four, the duo broke
away from the field over the final 12
laps often running nose to tail and side
by side in a frantic battle for the win.
The final 12 laps ran were run without
incident with Brown stretching his lead to
nearly 15 car lengths before the top pair hit lapped traffic. It looked as though Styres
would get his chance to make a move for the lead when a pair of lapped cars broke
Brown’s momentum.
However, the Brantford, ON native held off the hard-charging Styres for the victory.
Alton, ON native Keith Dempster was third. Tecumseh, Michigan pilot Dain Naida was
fourth and Brockville, ON driver Paul Pekkonen completed the top-five.
Brown, Kyle Fraser of White Lake, ON and Chris Jones of Picton, ON won the qualifying
heats.
BAD LUCK PLAGUES BROWN BROTHERS AT OHSWEKEN - Friday July 11,
2014
Mitch Brown was embroiled in the chase to the checkered flag in Ohsweken
Speedway's A-Main on Friday night when the nose cone on his Sprint Car was broken
during the running of the 20-lap A-Main.
The shattered parts brought out the caution flag forcing him to restart at the back of
the 20-car field. Despite a desperate charge to get back into contention when racing
resumed he could only manage to work his way back to thirteenth spot in the
finishing order -his worst finish of the 2014 season.
Jake Brown also had a bad night nearly flipping his racer when a rear tire blew in the
apex of turns one and two just after Josh Shantz’s right front tire flew off in turn 4.
Brown's crew had him back on the track for the restart where he managed to bring
his #1-10 Crate Engine Sprinter back to a respectable fifth-place finish.
Both brothers won their qualifying heats at the 3/8th-mile oval.
STRONG WEEKEND RUNS FOR MITCH BROWN IN
SPRINT CAR RACING CIRCLES
Second Place at Ohsweken Speedway Followed by Third
Place Finish at South Buxton
July 6, 2014
Brantford's Mitch Brown extended his
string of solid runs in the Southern
Ontario Sprints series this past weekend
with a steady second place finish Friday
night at Ohsweken Speedway and
followed it up with a tight third place
run Saturday night at South Buxton
Speedway near Chatham ON on
Saturday.
On Friday night at Ohsweken Speedway
the fifth-year Sprint Car competitor
started on the outside pole beside
Adam West of Ridgetown, ON in the AMain feature event. But it was third-place
starter Steve Collins a Family Physician out
of Belfast, NY who grabbed the lead
before the end of the first lap and was
never headed in his run to his first feature
win in any form of motorsport.
Brown moved quickly to get around
West to take up the pursuit of the early
leader but was unable to chase down
Collins through the final laps of the 25lap special.
Steve Collins -a family Physician out of Belfast, NY won his first feature win in any form of motorsport,
July 4th at Ohsweken Speedway. Here he is flanked by 2nd-place finisher Mitch Brown on his right and
Chris Steele on his left.
In his qualifying heat the Brantford speedster was awarded the Nathan
Ackland State Farm Insurance “Top Gun” Award for the high score in
heat race passing points moving from his eighth place starting spot to
second in the eight-lap chase.
On Saturday night at the 3/8th-mile South Buxton D-shaped oval,
Brown came home third behind Ohsweken's Glenn Styres and secondplace runner Justin Martin of St. Thomas. The Brantford driver's third
place run was decided in a photo-finish over local favourite Kyle Patrick
of Tilbury, ON.
In six Southern Ontario Sprints events held through July 5th, the driver
of the Haldex/Sit' N Bull Tires/ Pro-Fit Health Club/ Leitch Performance
Engines/Strodes BBQ & Deli sprinter has five top-four A-Main finishes
including two wins both at Brighton Speedway.
Brown currently sits second in points at both Ohsweken Speedway in
the Corr/Pak Packaging seasonal Sprint Car standings and in the SOS
series both led by Glenn Styres.
Jake Brown Continues To Impress in Crate Engine Division at
Ohsweken.
Rookie Jake Brown handily won his qualifying heat on Friday night at
Ohsweken and appeared headed for a strong late race charge in the
division feature. But with the laps winding down he spun while trying to
avoid a stopped car and had to restart at the back of the field finishing
eighth in the 15-lap race.

MITCH BROWN POSTS STRONG RUNS IN BACK
TO BACK PATRIOT SPRINT TOUR CANADA
ACTION
Jared Zimbardi of Bradford, PA Sweeps Weekend Events
June 20, 2014
The weekend of June 20th -21st was the first of two 2014 Patriot
Sprint Tour events on Canadian soil for Mitch Brown and despite
poor draws for positions in the A-main features he seemed satisfied
with his overall performances.
The weekend action for the Brantford youngster started Friday
night at Ohsweken Speedway were he finished second in his
qualifier and 9th in the 25-lap main event. He appeared destined for
a possible top-five finish in the main event after starting 10th in the
24-car field but following a restart on lap 23 he slid high through turns
three and four opening the bottom line for Alain Bergeron of Saint-Pie,
QC and Dave Dykstra of Port Colborne, ON to slip past. He had earlier
passed both drivers who had started 2nd and 12th respectively.
A-Main (25 Laps)- 1. Jared Zimbardi (35), 2. Jason Barney (87), 3.
Glenn Styres (0), 4. Todd Hoddick (49), 5. Jessica Zemken (77x), 6.

the Corr/Pak Sprints at Ohsweken Speedway on June 20th.
June 21, 2014
On Saturday night at Brockville Speedway Mitch Brown chased
Bergeron to the checkered flag in the opening qualifier then
finished fifth in the 25-lap contest -his highest A-Main finish in three
years of competition at the 1/4-mile high-banked oval.
Jared Zimbardi of Bradford, PA who captured the Friday show at
Ohsweken made it two in a row by leading from start to finish for
his second win of the weekend . Alain Bergeron’s second-place
effort had a few bids for the win, but Michael Parent ran him hard
for that position, eventually would have to settle for third.
Ontario’s Chris Jones and Mitch Brown completed the top five.
Local Lee Ladoucuer would edge Yan Bilodeau at the line for sixth
while Rick Wilson, Kyle Fraser and Dale Gosselin rounded out the
top 10.

MITCH BROWN SCORES SECOND SOS FEATURE OF THE SEASON AT BRIGHTON
Strong at Ohsweken and Humberstone in Busy Weekend of Racing
June 16, 2014
It was a weekend of mixed emotions for Mitch Brown and his brother Jake on the dirt ovals of
Southern Ontario.
On Saturday night June 14th Mitch Brown
started his Haldex/Sit' N Bull Tires/ Leitch
Performance
Engines/Pro-Fit
Health
Club/Strodes BBQ & Deli Sprinter outside the
front row of the Southern Ontario Sprints AMain at Brighton Speedway and led all 25 laps
on route to his second victory of the season at
Brighton. Brown outdueled polesitter Rick
Wilson Joyceville, ON as the top duo ran first
and second for the full distance.
Photo by Rod Henderson / Brighton Speedway
The race saw five yellow flags for minor
incidents. Glenn Styres spun over the berm in
turn one on lap 11, which cost him his top-five
position. Nine laps later, Tyler Rand came to a
stop in turn four despite running in the top
five.
Wilson had his best chance to get by Brown in
lapped traffic with six to go, but when the
caution came out for Rand on lap 20, Brown
prevailed on the single-file restart.
Mitch Brown, Tyler Rand of Consecon, ON, and Justin Martin of Rodney, ON were the heat
race winners.
Determined Run for Brown at Humberstone -June 15, 2014
On Sunday at Port Colborne's Humberstone Speedway, Mitch Brown ran his most aggressive
race of the season battling his way from a 17th-place start in the 20-lap A-Main to earn a
fourth-place finish in the SOS event at the 1/3rd mile clay oval .
During warm-ups, The Brantford competitor shattered the speedway's track record with a
time of 13.539 seconds.
Chris Steele from St. Catharines, Ontario won the fourth event of the 2014 Southern Ontario
Sprints Tour. He was chased to the checkered flag by Ohsweken's Glenn Styres with Brad
Malloy of Niagara Falls, Brown and Cory Turner of Caistor Centre rounding out the top-five.
John Burbridge, Jr. of St. Williams ON had a very strong run turn sour in the feature event
when he spun in the apex of turn one after being clipped by Chris Jones of Picton, ON.
Burbridge recovered to finish 12th while Jones limped to a seventh-place finish.
MITCH BROWN STRONG AGAIN AT OHSWEKEN
Brother Jake Brown Flips - June 13, 2014
With the weekend of racing for the Brantford racing brothers starting on Friday the 13th and a
full moon partially hidden by late evening clouds Mitch Brown raced to a solid second place
finish in his qualifying heat then settled for a comfortable fifth place run in the 20-lap A-Main.
For brother Jake, who won the June 6th Crate Engine Sprint Car feature at the 3/8th-mile oval, the
results were devastating as the youngster crashed his race car on lap four of the 15-lap chase.
The driver of the APC, Port Dover Auto Parts, Strodes Express and Brown Auto Service who started
tenth was battling to get around some slower cars when he and Ohsweken's Robbie General
made contact in turn 2 sending Brown's car into a wild flip and roll eventually coming to rest on
its wheels. The June 6th winner was uninjured, but the same could not be said for his car.
Ryan Hunsinger of Caledonia went on to claim his second Crate Engine Sprint Car feature victory
of the season.
JAKE BROWN EDGES BACK INTO STRONG RACING
FORM FOLLOWING FLIP
Jake Brown appears to have recovered from his June 13th
flip in his #1-10 602 Crate Sprint Car and is determined
to chase down Ryan Hunsinger and Aaron Turkey in the
division's battle for the inaugural Championship
season.
Since that flip which came one week after winning
his first feature of the season, the teenager has motored to six top-five
finishes in the next seven races up to July 28th at Ohsweken including
three runs in the top-three.
It appeared he was on his way to win number 2 on July 28th but he found
the high line around the 3/8th-mile oval a little too loose and dropped to
third with three laps remaining.
There was little doubt he was disappointed by the results but may have
learned a lesson from his lane choice.
After eleven nights of racing at Ohsweken Speedway, Jake Brown sits
third in the Strickland's 602 Crate Sprints divisional standings 43 points
back of leader Ryan Hunsinger and 23 behind Aaron Turkey of Ohsweken.
With just five races left in the 2014 schedule for the 602 Crate Sprint
Cars, Jake will have to race aggressively but feels there's still enough time
to make a serious run for the title.
Wayne Johnson Tops at Ohsweken Speedway
Mitch Brown Battles Way to 8th after 14th-Place Start -July 25 2014
Jim Huppunen and Dave
Dykstra led the 19-car Corr/Pak
Merchandising 360 Sprint Car
feature to the green flag.
Dykstra grabbed the early lead
off the initial start, shuffling
Huppunen back to second.
American invaders Wayne
Johnson of Knoxville, IA and
Shane Stewart of Pittsboro, IN
battled for the third position
early after starting side-by-side
in the second row.
Johnson battled to take the
lead from Dykstra on lap six and
never looked back. Dykstra
faded in the middle portion of
the race as Huppunen ran in
second ahead of Stewart.
Johnson grew his lead to nearly a half lap as he ran through lapped traffic in the caution-free race. Johnson set a new track record for a 20lap 360 sprint car feature at 4:55.961 en route to the victory. Stewart used a lapped car to get by Huppunen on the final corner and steal the
second spot.
Mitch Brown experienced ignition problems in his qualifying heat that resulted in a fifth-place finish but battled back in the A-Main to finish
eighth after starting fourteenth in the twenty-car field.
Australian James McFadden Caps Northern Summer Nationals At Ohsweken
Mitch Brown Runs Steady Pace to Finish Fifth in 25-Lap Special

(Tiffin, OH) to claim Monday night's
Burger Barn “Race for the Cure”
event in support of the Juravinski
Hospital and Cancer Centre
Foundation.
Twenty four cars started the AMain with Johnson setting the early
lead until McFadden took over on
lap six to pace the field over the
final laps.
Jessica Zemken coming home second followed Shane Stewart (Pittsboro, IN), Wayne Johnson and Brantford's Mitch Brown.
Glenn Styres of Ohsweken, Jared Zimbardi (Bradford, PA) Paige Polyak, Dain Naida (Tecumseh, MI) and Kyle Patrick (Tilbury, ON) rounded out

Six Nations
Showdown
Donny Schatz Sweeps Canada
Donny Schatz Battles Shane Stewart to Win Third in a Row at Ohsweken
Speedway’s Six Nations Showdown
Schatz’s 12th win of the season gives him the most wins of any driver so far this season
OHSWEKEN, Ont. — July 29, 2014 — Neither cautions nor a fierce battle
with Shane Stewart could stop Donny Schatz on his way to a sweep of the
World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series’ three-race Canada swing and 12th
win of the season at Ohsweken Speedway Tuesday night.
Schatz won the Six Nations Showdown after winning the two previous
events at Cornwall Motor Speedway and Autodrome Drummond.
“I just did everything I could,” Schatz said. “A lot of it comes down to *crew
members+ Rick Warner, *Steve ‘Scuba’ Swanson+, Eric *Prutzman+, Bill
Klingbeil - these guys do a
phenomenal job working on this
racecar and making STP look
good.”
In addition to winning the
feature at Ohsweken, Schatz
was third quickest in hot laps,
took home the quick time - his
sixth of the season - won his
heat race and finished second in
the dash.
“The *STP/Armor All+ car was
fun to drive all night long, right
from the word go,” Schatz said.
“Hot laps, qualifying, heat race.
Shane got out front there pretty early. I expected the track to slow down
and slick off there a little bit more than it did but it was fast. It was an
awful fast race. Hats off to the whole STP team, they did a great job
getting me what I needed.”
“I enjoyed being in Canada. It’s been great to me. O Canada!”
Cautions plagued the early part of the race. Just after the drop of the
green flag, an incident left Paul McMahan on his roof in the middle of
turns one and two and Jason Sides and Kraig Kinser with damaged
racecars. Sides and McMahan were able to return to the track while Kinser
had his night ended.
Two more cautions followed in quick succession for Sides and Logan
Schuchart. With Stewart leading, James McFadden in second and Schatz in
third another caution came out with eight complete after a mechanical
issue led to a fire on the No. 52 of Jesse Costa. Costa was OK.
On the restart, Schatz fought his way around McFadden for second. What
commenced was a ten lap battle for the lead between Schatz and Stewart.
On laps 10, 11 and 12 Schatz looked low and in the middle to get around
Stewart but couldn’t make it work. With a decent lead built up, Stewart hit
lapped traffic on lap 15. As he worked his way through it, Schatz began
reeling him back in.
By lap 18, Schatz was again on Stewart’s rear bumper bar, challenging him
for the lead. After a hiccup for Stewart, Schatz got around and led lap 19.
Stewart however was able to use lapped traffic as a pick, sliding Schatz
through turns one and two. He led lap 20.
Schatz was not done though, on the next lap he too was able to use
lapped traffic as a pick, getting back around Stewart to lead lap 21. Though
Stewart tried to reel Schatz back in, Schatz took the checkered flag for his
third win in a row. His current streak is the second longest of the season.
Schatz extended his points lead
over Daryn Pittman to 106.
After a difficult night that saw
him finish in 18th, third place
Paul McMahan fell to 178 points
back.
Stewart, who has one World of
Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series
win this season, complimented
his Townline Variety team, a
temporary home for the driver
who normally competes with
Larson Marks Racing.
“All these guys behind me, they
worked really hard for me all
week,” Stewart said. “They’re all part-timers. They don’t get paid to work
on this car and they all do it because they love it. It was a joy working with
them… We had a really solid week. I think if a couple of things had played
out a little differently I think we maybe could have gotten a win here or
there. It was a good week for us.”
McFadden said he was disappointed his All-Star Performance/Gaerte
Engines/XYZ Machining team was so close to the front, but unable to
compete with Stewart and Schatz for the lead.
“It’s good for our confidence leading into these next few races,” McFadden
said. “It just sucks we couldn’t race with them there. I could see them - I just
couldn’t get close enough. Hats off to the boys with this 3G team - we’ve
had a pretty solid summer since I’ve been here, so it’s been great.”
OHSWEKEN SPEEDWAY NOTES: Donny Schatz’s 12th win gave him the
most wins of any driver so far this season… Jessica Zemken, Paul
McMahan, Cody Darrah and Donny Schatz all won their heat races
tonight… Donny Schatz’s three race win streak is the second longest this
season… Logan Schuchart got his third podium finish of the season… David
Gravel received the KSE Hard Charger Award at Ohsweken after advancing
nine positions to finish in fifth… Donny Schatz picked up his sixth quick
time of the season.

this time and would like to
express our heartfelt thanks to
all of those who have reached
out to us in our time of sorrow.
We would also like to
acknowledge the extraordinary
care given to our father by the
Oncology Department of the
Brantford General Hospital and
from the staff and volunteers at
Stedman Community Hospice.
