New Berlin
Summer Activities Camps
2016
1
The New Berlin Sports and Activity Camps are designed to give boys and girls of all ages from
Kindergarten to a senior in high school- the opportunity to develop their individual skills under the
guidance and direction of the New Berlin High School Staff and Students and other respected
coaches in their sport. These camps are designed to teach your child a new skill or help improve the
skills that he or she may already have.
Each camp will emphasize basic techniques, fundamental skills, and having fun. The sports camps
will also focus on these skills, plus fitness and how playing as a team is important. More
importantly, the summer camps strive to develop interest and enthusiasm for sports athletics and
those who enjoy activities like crafting, cooking, farming, and drawing.
An overview of each camp offered by New Berlin Athletics or Club is included in this brochure. The
camps will be led by experienced coaches, teachers, and students. The specific ages listed for each
camp are according to the grade the child will enter in the Fall of 2016.
Please complete the registration form, sign the waiver, and return payment to allow your child to
participate. Participation is not limited to students in the New Berlin School District.
Please register by May 20th. Late registration will be accepted until May 27th. This is an important
deadline to make sure there is availability for your child in the camp and also to ensure that they
receive the items (t-shirt, ball, supplies, etc.) provided by the camp. Late registration may result in
student not receiving some of the camp materials if they can’t be ordered in time.

Middle school innovators explore the edge of innovation and imagine the possibilities through dreaming,
designing, engineering and making. Teams invent to light up their lockers, or maybe even light up an entire
continent. Inventing is part one. Bringing an invention to the world is part two. Innovators are challenged to
create new, inventive designs, but they must also consider principles of business (e.g., rapid prototyping,
market research, shipping and profit).
Inspiration floods forth as teams are virtually introduced to some of today’s greatest thinkers, inventors and
entrepreneurs.
Check it out and register online at http://www.inventionproject.org/. Limited to 15 students.
