THIRD ANNUAL CITY CLUB CLASSIC
MONDAY, JUNE 23RD
This year, the City Club Classic trophy is up for grabs as City Club has partnered with
another prestigious private club, Dunwoody Country Club.
They say the best business deals are made on the golf course, so invite your existing and
future clients and treat them to a day on a picturesque course in Dunwoody. This
tournament is a best ball scramble, and members can invite guests, however, each
foursome must have a City Club member playing in it.
 $110 all inclusive per person includes greens fee, cart fee, driving range balls, a
boxed lunch, hors d’oeuvres and two drink tickets during the Awards Reception.


$400 all inclusive for a Foursome includes all above.
$500 all inclusive for a Foursome includes all above plus Hole Sponsorship,
Signage and Recognition at Awards Ceremony and your company logo in the May
and June City Club newsletter and e-mail blasts, Table Top Feature, and $25 in

A LETTER FROM OUR GENERAL MANAGER...
April brings much anticipated changes in the weather after a brutal winter! As all of you now know, our former Executive Chef, Darryl Evans passed away on February 26th after almost four years here at City Club.
Chef Morey Anderson, joined us last year to assist in leading our Culinary Team while Darryl was dealing
with his illness and has been just an incredible addition to our Club. I am pleased and happy to share with you
all that Chef Morey was promoted to be our Executive Chef and we could not be more proud to be able to
promote him to this position.
Chef Morey moved to Atlanta to rejoin his culinary contemporary Scott Dangerfield and was on the opening
team of the Mobile 5 Star Occidental Grand Hotel where he assumed the role of Sous Chef of the acclaimed
restaurant Florencia. It is at the Occidental where Chef continued to hone his skills under the expert tutelage
of chef’s Philippe Haddad and our former City Club Executive Chef, Darryl Evans. He has cooked for dignitaries, including
preparing an eight-course meal for the Emperor of Japan!
Chef Morey continued to master his craft at the Ritz Carlton Buckhead as the first American Café Chef
for this property. In 2003 Chef moved to Ponte Vedra, Florida and took over the role of Chef de
Cuisine for the PGA, catering to the Players and their families at TPC Sawgrass, TPC Sugarloaf and
TPC Riversbend. While at TPC Sawgrass, Chef Morey took first place and won two gold medals for
his desserts in the “Chocolates of the World” dessert competition.
In 2009 Chef was recruited to plan and design the Food and Beverage program for The Manor Golf and
Country Club. Chef has strived to integrate his vast skills and experience to bring a new level of
culinary excellence to the traditional private club experience. His constant attention to detail, relentless mentoring of his staff, and his desire to make each member feel special and a part of his family, is
what drives him and what makes him the perfect Executive Chef to continue to carry on the traditions
& culture that we enjoy here at City Club of Buckhead. Please congratulate Morey during your next
visit to the club and I encourage you to enjoy his new menus that we will be featuring in April!
