Things are definitely tough out there when it comes to making money in today's tough economic times. Here are 10 key tips to making it happen: 1. Discipline - You must stay disciplined and keep to your agenda. Complete your daily activities even when it seems impossible to do so sometimes. 2. Time Management - It is not the amount of time you put into your daily activities, but rather, how efficiently you use your time. Allocate and schedule you time according to your tasks. 3. Internet - You have to be aware of what your competitors are doing and try to stay one step ahead. Using the internet is one way to research your competition, find ways to improve your business and reach more potential customers. 4. Stay Focused - Have goals and a plan on how to achieve your goals. Regularly review your goals and focus on the achievement of these goals. Testimonials Spoto’s Restaurant - 4005 East Tremont Ave. Bronx NY 10465 - (718) 828-5613 - TNMA Open House by Twoscots at Citysearch This restaurant is nothing short of Wonderful. Went there last week for their lunch special. The salad was delicious as was the soup and the lunch entree was really really excellent and to top it off coffee and a canolli are included with the lunch. My husband and I have been there many times for dinner which is excellent. They make a really good Martini which is my husband's choice and I like the wine - I switch back and forth between red and white and I have never been disappointed. I have several friends from Westchester come to the Bronx to enjoy this restaurant. Owner and staff are excellent and we highly recommend. - Enjoy Do you own or manage a business? If you do, you are invited to the TNMA Open House, where you will learn about the TNMA and how it can benefit you and your business. This is your chance to meet and interact with the TNMA Board of Directors and fellow merchants (members and non-members) from your community. Find out what other merchants would like to see happen in Throggs Neck. It’s probably not much different from what you want. The TNMA has earned a reputation as one of, if not the strongest, merchant associations in The Bronx. We regularly have the ears of the local elected officials when we have issues that need to be raised. Why? We believe that it is due to our “Strength in Numbers”. “Strength in numbers” is not just a phase. We believe that without the support of our fellow businessmen and women, we would be impotent. If that doesn’t entice you, maybe some free snacks will... :) Guys & Dolls - 3577 East Tremont Ave. - Bronx NY 10465 - (718) 828-2025 by roxanne1889 at Citysearch place stamp here I have been going there since i had hair....I had my first hair cut there by Tara. Now I am old enough to go where i choose and i still choose Guys &Dolls as do most of my friends. The staff is always going away to hair shows and come back with the latest trends,so I get the latest styles before I see or hear about it in magazines. I had pee-a-boo highlights 3 years ago, and now the girls at work are getting them.I love to get my hair done and then show them whats going to be in style soon. I never hear them gossiping, they are usually talking with you about how to maintain your color and style. Try it out and tell them Roe sent you. The Wicked Wolf blossomed from an idea to create a neighborhood restaurant that offers great food and friendly service. Inside, the warmth created by the rich Mahogany wood and raw brick walls leaves you feeling relaxed in its casual elegance. Combined with friendly, efficient service, the Wicked Wolf makes for a unique dining experience in Throggs Neck. If you haven't been to the Wicked Wolf lately, you probably don't know about the changes that have taken place. Outdoor seating surrounded by beautiful flora gives you a sense of being on a mini vacation from the everyday stresses of life. When asked why the outdoor seating was put in place, the The Mall at Scott Place is now open. Located at 3602 East Tremont Ave, the shops consist of a Giabella's Jewelry, Vincenzo's Hairstylists, Carmine's Sweet Shoppe, and the Scott Place Café. Along the side of the building, there is an outdoor patio seating area with tables and umbrellas for warmer months. This unique (for Throggs Neck) set-up is a welcome addition to the neighborhood. In addition to the shops, there is also a large lounge in the back where people can relax, catch a game on the flat screen TV, have a beverage or a pastry. It will be open until at least 12:00 noon on weekdays and 1:00 AM Fridays and Saturdays so people can stop by after eating at one of the many restaurants in the neighborhood. How do I Join the TNMA?
