trip to Burrumbuttock for this year’s Southern Riverina Cross Country
carnival. The weather was spectacular and the course was in
immaculate condition allowing all competitors to show off their
endurance and will-power. All of our students did their best and every
single one of us could leave the day with our heads held high. We
were fortunate enough to have 5 students progress through to the
Riverina carnival which is in Gundagai on Thursday the 16th of June.
Congratulations to Mikayla and Ashton Talbot, Archie McDonald, Ben
Christensen and Alistair Brooksby who advance to the next level. We
are sure that they will do Jindera Public School and the Southern
Riverina proud. Many thanks to the parents who also made the trip
over and helped with the running of the day and for cheering our kids
on.

BUS PASS APPLICATIONS—NOW ONLINE
NEW: Rural/regional applications now online - http://www.transportnsw.info/schoolstudents
Any new applications for school travel passes in rural and regional NSW will need to be completed online instead of using
paper forms.
This change makes it easier to apply, as you only need to complete one form for each eligible address that covers all
situations, including journeys that involve multiple transport operators or modes of transport. It’s also easier for schools
and bus operators, as Transport for NSW will now handle the applications.
This change only affects the application process; no changes to any public transport services are planned.
Regardless of where you live in NSW, you can now update your details online (e.g if the student changes address or
school).
New applications for school travel passes for 2017 open from the start of Term 4, 2016.
Parents without ready access to the internet can phone 131 500 for assistance with their application.
