Study Center J. Payer
Package holiday of one week at Nature House Villa Santi dedicated to the discovery
of the rich geology of the Nature Park and Geopark. There will be daily and nightly
excursions and laboratory activities.
Guided tours with the experts of Trentino Glaciological Committee of Società
Alpinisti Tridentini in the small high altitude museum dedicated to Adamello glaciers.

Excursion along a panoramic footpath to admire and to know the Brenta Dolomites,
World Heritage Site since 2009.
The Mistery of Red Lake
Scientific theatre for children and families about the “reddening phenomenon” of
Tovel Lake, geosite of the Geopark.

Short but evocative nightly excursion to admire the sunset under the Brenta
Dolomites and the Adamello-Presanella mountains.

A journey into the story of quartz and the ancient glassworks
Excursion starting from Doss del Sabbion, with a wonderful view of the whole
Adamello Brenta Geopark, through Val d’Algone, to re-discover the old quarries of
quartz and the old glassworks. At the end of the day guided visit to the Museum of the
old glasswork Carisolo (geosite of Abg).
An invitation to “Val di Fumo”
Excursion of a whole day in Val di Fumo, reached with the Park’s bus, discovering
the geological and geo-morphological peculiarities of this admirable example of
glacial valley with the typical parabolic profile.
The blue treasure
Discovering the treasure of Val Genova: its richness of water and waterfalls. For this
reasone called by the first pioneers “the Versailles of the Eastern Alps”.

Crossing the Park: along the Via GeoAlpina from Grostè pass to
Tovel Lake
Astonishing crossing in the Brenta Dolomites guided by the Alpine Guide and a
geologist who will lead to the discovery of the wonderful geology of Brenta.
Excursion in Val di Tovel
Excursion of a whole day in Val di Tovel, reached with the Park’s bus, discovering its
geological peculiarities and the mistery of its lake, important geosite of the Abg.

Crossing the Park: along the Via GeoAlpina from Tonale pass to
Genova Valley
Astonishing crossing in the Adamello Presanella mountain group guided by the
Alpine Guide and a geologist who will lead to the discovery of the wonderful geology
of Adamello and its glaciers and geomorphology.
Pian della Nana: geological history of a landscape
Guided excursion of a whole day along the interpreted footpath discovering the
marvellous geological history of a special and unusual landscape walking easily into
the karstic Pian della Nana in the Brenta Dolomites.
The rock soul of Val di Tovel
Excursion along the astonishing moon landscape of the Glare, to learn the
“geological history” of Val di Tovel.
Vallesinella karstic springs
Guided excursion of a whole day knowing the secrets of Vallesinella spring and
waterfalls, important karstic geosites.
An invitation to “Val di Breguzzo”
Excursion of a half day in Val di Breguzzo, reached with the Park’s bus, discovering
the geological peculiarities of the valley where one can find the remains of the old
quarries of marble and pyrite mines.

Excursion of a whole day in Val Genova, reached with the Park’s bus, discovering the
geological and geo-morphological peculiarities of the valley and its richness in water
and waterfalls.

Excursion from the head of Genova Valley, geosite of the Abg in the heart of
Adamello Group.
Walking around Tovel lake
Excursion around the lake in order to learn how it was formed and the geological and
historical aspects of it.

At the Discovery of the ancient Glacier
At the head of Genova Valley, in the heart of Adamello Group, astonishing excursion
to decode the signs left around by the glacier.
Interpreting the stars
Stories and minks under the stars in cooperation with the Rovereto Civic Museum and
Tridentinum Museum of Nature Sciences. In a unique and magical landscape a group
of experts will guide the participants to read and interpret the sky.

- Ancient glasswork – Foundation Maria Pernici
Like in a museum you can live again the history of the Carisolo ancient glasswork
with guided tours.
- Santo Stefano old church
Cemetery church, on a rouche mountonnee of granite at the entrance of Genova
Valley, where there are valuable fresco paintings of Baschenis.
- Screening of dvd “Val di Tovel” at the House Park “Red Lake”

Mountains’ mistery
High altitude festival dedicated this year to the “Mother mountain” and the water,
source of life.
On the mountain country of Tovel – “malga” Tuena
In a very special geological context, all day excursion guided by a ranger, from Tovel
Lake to the “malga” Tuena (cow’s hut) in order to know the traditions of the past and
to witness the "casarada" (processing of making cheese).

“Let’s create in the park”
Screening of movies from the mountain festival.
Activities of orienteering where the children can get in touch with the Geopark
territory and its geology.
Funny equipped course to approach the mountain and climbing in total safety with
the Alpine Guide: by climbing…to the “Tibetan” bridge.
Devils and witches who live in the huge stones of tonalite wake up to tell stories of
their life in Val Genova to children.
Fun workshop activities for children aged 6 to 10 years, preceded by a short walk.
The protagonists of the creative workshop will be the guiding elements of nature:
wood, rocks, leaves and fauna.
Water, life and tradition
Half-day excursion along the banks of the Massò river in search of river ecosystem’s
life forms and past and present water uses. Visit to the Centre dedicate to the water
and to sawmill “Taialacqua”.
