From this school Critical MASS was started in Orlando,
FL, in 1990. We have been leading the way to max performance hi-fi on the road with our $259,000 CES 5.1 one

Car Audio Magazine tested the least expensive part of

because it's worth every dollar! In addition the Critical
MASS UL12 was rated #1 over all other Subwoofers tested
including woofers made by companies such as JL Audio,
Image Dynamics, Alpine, Xtant, Kicker, Arc Audio, MB Quart,
Digital Designs, Cerwin-Vega, Orion, Phoenix Gold and

System consists of 4 separate front sound stages in
the same vehicle, made of a total of 12 electrostats.
Each front sound stage has 1 Left ch 1 Center ch
and 1 Right ch directly in front of each listener. With
conventional systems this would not work because
the left channel of the passenger side would mix
with the drivers side right channel and create a
mono signal and visa versa, instead of a true stereo
signal. Due to our newly developed patent pending
Electrostat materials and manufacturing methods
we have been able to miniaturize the size of an
electrostatic transducer to just under 2" high and 3"
wide, and focus all of the audio produced by these
ultra exotic and sonically perfect 24 Karat gold
plated Electrostats directly in front of each listener
without interfering with each other while creating a
sonically perfect surround sound experience .
Each system ordered will be custom designed
for the specific sound signature of each car and
will be inspected and supervised each step of
the way in the 2-3 month process directly by Mr.
Wayde Alfarone (head engineer and founder
of Critical MASS) and Mr. Claudio Laraia (CEO

SUBWOOFER DESIGN:
This driver is the first Ultra-Performance Subwoofer to be
made with the automotive performance enthusiast in mind.
At only 18 lbs, this subwoofer handles up-to 3 times more
power, has a considerably higher linear and maximum excursion, and audibly lower distortion, while weighing as much
as 66% less than other Ultra-Performance Subwoofer (woofers with an excursion capability of greater than 2.5”). These
subwoofers made by other companies can weigh as much
as 55 lbs. On the other hand, the Critical MASS Ultra-Performance Lightweight Subwoofer will not only play louder and
handle more power, but it will also play in a smaller box, and
therefore, can save you as much as 100 lbs from subwoofer
system weight when combined with the reduced weight of
a smaller enclosure (based on two 12” subs). A 100 lbs reduction in your system weight, translates to accelerations
gains resulting in up to 1/10th of a second off your 0-60 mph
times, or as much as 1 car length faster. So the next time you
plan to invest $1000 on an exhaust system, keep in mind
that you may have already lost your expected performance
gains, unless you are using Critical MASS UL-Series subwoofers and speakers.
HEAT-SINK BASKET TECHNOLOGY:
Utilizing a unique and efficient way of transferring heat,
from the motor, to the basket body, and then to the basket mounting flange. This Ultra-Performance Subwoofer
actually transfers the heat from inside the Box to the
outside world by utilizing its heat-sink fins on the face of
the woofer’s mounting flange. Not only does this technology allow for increased short-term power handling,
but also for greater power handling over long periods of
time (many more hours than conventional designs).

This cone is one of the only cones that will withstand 5000 Watts of peak music power. The
Lightweight Carbon Fiber Sandwich Cone

$1,999 each, this series is definitely affordable. In the
past we have always focused on the absolute highest
performance using the absolute highest quality parts
regardless of cost (Simply the Best) but this time we
have combined all the best parts that make sense to
bring you the absolute most Bang for your hard earned
buck. At about 5 lbs, this subwoofer can handle more
than 2 times the power, has a considerably higher linear
and maximum excursion, and has lower distortion, while
weighing as much as 20% less than other Subwoofers
costing twice as much. While other companies focus on
looks mostly, we at Critical MASS decided to focus on
Power, Excursion, Durability, and Lightweight. Therefore
this Critical MASS High-Performance Subwoofer will not
only play louder and handle more power, which together
allows this woofer to also play in a smaller box, which
saves you as much as 30 lbs from the subwoofer system
weight, when combined with the reduced weight of a
smaller enclosure (based on two 12” subs). The End result is a combination of Power to weight to Price ratio
