Hi!
We are Jodi and Mario and we are thrilled and honored that you have chosen to read our profile. We want you to know that we
admire and respect you for the courageous decision you have made. We know that this decision is based on the love you
have for your child. It is our hope that as you read through our profile you will get an honest sense of who we are and what
we can offer as parents to your child, as our decision to adopt is also based on love. Thank you for taking the time to get to
know us. We hope to hear from you soon.
How we arrived “here”
We are unable to have biological children of our own and have always known in our hearts that adoption is how we were
meant to form our family. We are ready and waiting to welcome a precious boy or girl into our lives. Our family couldn’t be
more excited that we’ve decided to begin our adoption journey. We are fortunate to have an amazing support system. Both of
us come from large, loving, families with many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who are just as excited as we are to become
parents. We have been blessed with family and friends who have formed their family through adoption, so they can really
relate to the overwhelming excitement we have about welcoming our first child. We feel fortunate to have witnessed the
miracle of adoption firsthand through their adoption experiences.
We have completed all the necessary steps and we have been approved as adoptive parents.
We are ready to welcome a little bundle of joy into our life!
Our Love Story
We met in 2006 through mutual friends and became close friends immediately. In 2007, we went on our first date together
to New York City. We saw a Broadway play, went to see the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree, and then zoomed up seventy
floors to the “Top of the Rock” Rockefeller Center observation deck and enjoyed a breath taking panoramic view of New
York City. We both say that it was up above the crowded city we discovered the love we have for each other and it has been
true love ever since. In 2010, we tied the knot in a beautiful wedding encircled by friends and family.
Mario… by Jodi
I love Mario so very much and couldn’t imagine my life without him. Mario is
the son of Rosa and Frank, and has an older brother named Umberto. Mario’s
Disney World
parents are originally from Italy. Mario shares a special bond with his
grandparents. Growing up, Mario’s grandparents lived in the same home with
his immediate family where he learned to speak Italian and also learned some
of his grandma’s amazing Italian recipes.
One of my favorite qualities of Mario is how focused and driven he is. He will
always go above and beyond to meet and surpass his goals. Mario is enjoying
a successful career in law enforcement. He truly enjoys his career, which is
both engaging and challenging. He enjoys working with his coworkers and
people in his work community.
Mario loves to play with children and enjoys spending time with my teenage
cousins. They are always calling him for advice, guidance, or just to take them
to a movie!
Mario has the same group of friends from when he was a young boy. They are
dedicated friends to Mario and enjoy many of the same hobbies as he. Mario
loves almost all sports and looks forward to attending games whenever he
can. I would describe Mario as thoughtful, hard working, and fun loving. I also
love how honest, patient and an excellent role model he is, which will make
him a wonderful father.

Jodi is the love of my life! She is a beautiful, kind woman who always
has a positive outlook on life. Jodi is the daughter of Jim and Marie,
and an older sister to her brother, Christopher. Jodi comes from a
large and loving family, with many younger cousins who look up to
her. Jodi loves spending time with her family. Whether it is a movie
night at our place or Sunday dinner at mom’s, there are always laughs
to be shared.
Jodi is regarded as a loyal and caring friend. She too, remains the
best of friends with the same circle of women from when she was
young girl. Jodi enjoys spending time with her friends and especially
loves spending time with their young children.
Jodi is an elementary school teacher. Her classroom consists of about
20 students with so many different personalities and learning styles. I
have had many opportunities to come in to her classroom and read to
her students. I admire the kind and warm disposition Jodi has when

Our Home and Neighborhood
HOME. Our new home is in the suburbs of New York and consists of three bedrooms so your
child will enjoy their own room next to ours. It is located in an award winning school district with
plenty of community events to take part of such as fairs, parades and holiday celebrations just
to name a few. One of our favorite things to do is walk around the large track of our community
park. In the warmer weather, we love to take our dog, Rocky, to the park to enjoy all the sights

Rocky
Rocky is our pet pug. We rescued him in the fall of 2009 and he has
brought us so much joy and plenty of laughs. We love to take Rocky
on walks around our community and at our neighborhood park. Rocky
loves people, especially children. Our neighbor’s children always come
running out of their homes we head out for our walks.
Education, Values, and Goals
As parents we plan to provide a stable, supportive, and loving environment for our child.
Education is very important to the both of us. Mario has an Associate Degree and Jodi has a
Masters Degree and both have a shared commitment to education. We understand the
importance of setting up a learning environment where our child can develop good study habits
and achieve success in school. We envision a family dynamic where our child can explore and
learn through his or her creativity along with the experiences we will provide him or her. Instilling
values and morals are also very near and dear to our hearts. We will foster these values by
working with our child and being supportive parents in all ways.
