Driving a classic Jaguar is in itself a rather pleasant
and yet exciting experience. On hot Summer’s days,
blasting along quite country lanes, with the wind in
your hair and the sun on your back. The hedgerows
seem to breath in to let you past and the wild flowers
bow in your wake as the rush you make pulls them

A high friction Aramid based brake pad with very low
metallic content. Comes on strong from the very first
application of the brake pedal causing no disc damage
and minimal brake dust.
Rossini Performance Brake Discs
Manufactured with magnesium and titanium in the
steel to increase disc strength and improve heat
dissipation. Drilling cools disc and eliminates brake
fade whilst the groove removes brake dust fast for
improved braking.

saloon straight into your classic Jaguar and been
scared witless by the lack of stopping power? It is a
fact that many classic Jaguars were fitted with braking
systems that often struggled to cope with the weight
and sheer power of the car they were fitted to.
Obviously in the past thirty or so years the methods
employed and the standards expected have changed
considerably. Now SNG Barratt can provide an
upgrade for most popular old style braking systems
that will allow you the luxury of stopping when you
want to!
Please Note: For safety reasons the above hoses will
only be sold and should only be fitted in a car set.

Four piston front caliper conversion
Utilising the original solid brake discs and brake
hoses makes this a quick and easy conversion to fit.
Having four stainless steel pistons housed within a
solid XJ style caliper they offer not only the benefit of
greater braking power but also greatly increases the

As the above four piston conversion but allowing the
addition of specially adapted vented brake discs for

Stainless Steel Brake Piston
& Cylinder Assemblies
Due to the fact that brake fluid is prone to absorbing
moisture from the atmosphere, over a period of time.
Dunlop type brake piston and cylinders that have
stood idle tend to rust and seize. This leads to leaking
cylinders due to ripped seals or at worst a totally
seized caliper. These pistons and cylinders are entirely composed of high quality stainless steel and are
ready assembled with seals to bolt straight on.

Anti Roll Bar Kits
Any E-Type that is put through its paces will exhibit an
alarming tendency for body roll. Fitting better quality
dampers will help to a certain degree but to cure it
totally you need to fit a stiffer anti roll bar to the car.
The kits that SNG Barratt provide will give the suspension the extra rigidity the standard bars lacks. Fit
these, and you will soon be going round corners on
four wheels instead of two!

Simply a great kit for improving the road holding ability
of any MK2. The kit features dual rated front coil
springs as well as a 1 inch diameter anti roll bar.

Coil Spring Kit
The rather outdated rear leaf spring arrangement
used on the MK2 has always meant that the both the
ride quality and the handling left a lot to be desired
under certain driving conditions. SNG Barratt can now
supply a conversion that will dramatically change the
suspension geometry allowing the car to be fitted with
conventional coil springs.
Obviously, fitting coil springs to a car that was originally
fitted with leaf springs is quite a feat of engineering,
and not something to be attempted by the faint hearted
as a considerable amount of welding and cutting is
involved. To help you along, a jig is supplied (surcharge refundable) as well as step by step instructions
and detailed photographs.

of fitting chrome wire wheels to your Jaguar or replacing
a set that have seen better days, take a look at this list

a) Stainless steel spokes which cannot rust and have
twice the fatigue resistance of chrome-plated spokes.
b) Swaged spokes, which are thicker at the hub and
tapered to the rim. The swaging process gives the
spoke a smooth, brilliant finish, provides more even

Uprated Driveshaft and Propshaft Universal Joints
Mainly due to the torque that is produced by any
Jaguar engine, you tend to find that standard universal
joints quickly wear if the car is used in an enthusiastic
manner. To counter this problem we can now offer
modified universal joints made by the original manufacturer, which will outlast the standard ones by miles
and miles!
Improved Rear Suspension Cradle Mountings
Our improved mountings replace the original rubber
compound with neoprene, which has the advantage of
greater durability, without detracting from the original
ride comfort of the vehicle. In addition to this you can

Electronic Ignition Kits
The constant changing of points and condensers on
any classic Jaguar is both inconvenient and time consuming for any big cat owner. The later Jaguars all
feature electronic ignition which comes with the obvious
advantages of greater reliability, economy and maintenance free motoring. The kits we provide are all produced by leading manufacturers and are built to out
last many of the cheaper kits that are available from
many of our competitors! They are fairly easy to fit and
require no further adjustment once they are in situ, so

Controlled Electric Fan Kits
Clouds of steam and gushing water is the last thing
you need in the Summer Bank Holiday traffic somewhere between home and the coast. Embarrassing
and often costly, not to mention a waste of your time
and effort with the picnic hamper. During the 60’s, the
roads just weren’t as congested as they are today,
cars weren’t designed to stand in near stationary traffic
for long periods of time. Of course the passage of the
years does nothing to help an already antiquated
cooling system and the only sensible way forward is
to fit a Kenlowe Fan Kit. This will allow you to thermostatically preset the point at which the fan activates
to cool your engine and calm your nerves. Blower
fans are fitted in front of the radiator to supplement
the original fan and suction fans fit behind replacing
the original system
