It’s around 10pm on Sunday night after a full 8.5 hours of work and I’m pretty bushed so this may not be my
best effort this month I’m sorry.
It’s good to see a number of prospective new members approach the branch over the last month. Let’s hope
it’s a sign of an upturn for club membership as with new members comes new life, perspective and enthusiasm to the
branches in all things.
The Valley Rally is on track to be a great time... there are going to be a roving magician, a variety of food and
merchandise vendors, music, games and I’m told there may even be body painting in lieu of tattooing this year, not
to mention, the sizable prizes on offer. Have a talk to Ike, Kat or July when you next see them and ask…

A fair bit of correspondence has come through in the past month please see details below. We have
had a couple of prospective new members that have come along to our Social night on Wednesdays looking
at joining GHM. Remember to make any new Members feel welcome if you see them sitting alone.
I also received a call from a Member called Chris who is no longer riding and has several Items of
Gear that she is trying to sell, ladies Dragon Jeans size 10, Wild Skins, Visors and Ventura bags all at reasonable prices as well as other items of accessories. She can be reached on (07) 5496 9125

5. Patriots annual Gunna Rally held at Cooyar behind the pub. For those that don't know Cooyar is located
around 1 hr north of Toowoomba. There has been many motorcycle rally's there in the past. $20.00 entry,
food available all weekend, biker stalls, There will live entertainment Saturday night, a show n shine
sponsored by Wilcos Pro Shine, wet T shirt comp, plenty of room for camping.

Ride to Lake Moogerah – Sunday 23rd June
What a great day to go for a ride!! The weather was lovely and the company was great. We had 2
trikes, 7 bikes and a car meet at BP South. We left at 8.30 and headed over the Gateway turning off at
Beaudesert Road. We stopped for coffee at Maccas at
Beaudesert, where Harry caught up with us. After fuelling
up we headed to Lake Moogerah. It was beautiful and
everyone bought their BBQ Lunch.
After lunch we headed home through Jindalee and
the hills of Everton Park. We stopped for coffee at Ziggy’s
and then we took the shortcut to the Patriots for a cool
beverage!!
It was a glorious day and great to see everyone
turn up. Thanks Ziggy for the great ride!!!

Some sad news for the branch came in last
month, We are losing our Santa, Snake our
Immediate Past President is moving to Innisfail
this month as his wife Sandra has accepted a
position at the Innisfail Hospital. We will miss you
Snake.
All the best in the future and don’t go
stressing at all. Join up with our family at Ulysses
Tropic Coast Tours Branch in Innisfail and ride all
those roads up there. Just don’t forget us.
