The Next Family Experience
Sunday, June 7, 2015, 10:15am & 12:15pm
Uptown’s Family Experience will be taking a
short break for the summer, but we’ll be back
with all new adventures in October. Families
of preschoolers - 5th grade will not want to
miss this last, super-fun, FamX service of the
season! We’ll be kicking off a 2-month focus
on the virtue of CONVICTION; standing up for
what’s right even when others don’t. FamX is
a big way Uptown equips families to discover
the character of Christ at home. Make plans
now to attend FamX after one of the Sunday
morning services on June 7. Let’s have a blast
as we laugh, worship, pray and grow in our
faith together!

Preschool Place & K-5
Sign-Up outside the Ministry Center or in the
Uptown Hallway
We want to invite you to help us thank our
weekly Uptown Small Group Leaders and
honor their gift of service and time by offering
them a break over the summer. We need you
to sign-up for SUMMER SERVE!
v Volunteer in K-5 or Preschool for one
service or more from July 5 – Sept. 13.
v Attend one of the upcoming
orientation meetings on June 21 or 28.
v See what a morning in Uptown is all
about and help us keep our kids
feeling cared for and safe. Students 16
years of age or younger must have a
parent sign-up to serve with them.

If you’re in 12th grade, you’ll want to be here this
night! Even if you’ve never been to Revolution
before, because this night is all about you! This will
remain a usual high school evening meeting, that
we call Revolution (all 9th – 12th are welcome), but
the emphasis will be celebrating you seniors and
we’ll need all underclassmen to help! Did I mention

June’s Focus – Preventing Relapse & Gratitude
Celebrate Recovery is a Christ - centered
recovery program based on the 12–steps and the
8 principles found in the Beatitudes. We have a
choice for a better future that does not have to
be based on our past mistakes. In June we are
learning how to stay focused on that better path
and avoid relapse into our old hurts, habits, and
hang-ups. We will look at choosing gratitude as
an outlook to share the hope of Jesus. We are
grateful for the better future in store, one
centered on a closer relationship with Him. Why

Race Day: Saturday, September 5, 2015

Crosswinds 5K! All proceeds will benefit the Sands
Cancer Center in Canandaigua. Runners of all
