ALL RISK MEDICAL MANAGMENT
PARA-CORP
The purpose of the Para-Corp program is to provide
basic and advanced medical care for the all risk
medical incidents. Our specialty is in providing care
for the most common occupational health and medical problems on an incident. We provide a wide
range of Basic and Advanced Life Support care at
remote locations and we provide it for a significant
cost savings to organizations and government agencies.
Our units are staffed with experienced medical personnel to maintain Base Camp operations for each
required shift as well as spike camps as needed.
We can place medical personnel on the fire line as
requested.
All Para-Corp personnel will be available on a 24hour basis to respond to accidents and/or injuries
and to provide security for the Para-Corp medical
station from the time of deployment through demobilization.
Is a division of Ringdahl EMS with headquarters in
Fergus Falls, MN. Para-Corp is a management
group that oversees our federal ambulance contracts, wildland fire support teams, centralized dispatching & communications center, remote medical
contracts, and disaster services.
Our federal ambulance contracts consist of strike
team organized ambulances and staff based in Georgia, Minnesota, North Dakota and Colorado. The
teams are available and deployed in just hours of an
activation or call up. Each strike team consists of five
(5) Advanced Life Support (ALS) ambulances and 11
staff including certified strike team leaders.
Our goal is to provide
resources for medical
contracting at a cost
savings to organizations and government
agencies requiring
specialty care for
common occupational
health and medical
problems on a remote worksite location, disaster site or
incident.
Our fire support services consist of 3 teams made
up of Type II wildland firefighters, medical unit leaders, camp assistants, and fire line EMT's, Paramedics,
PA’s, and RN’s. Resources available to our staff on
major incidents include an arsenal of equipment including command and communications vans, medical
unit trailers, field tents and power supply, fire line
SUV's, Polaris side-by-sides with medical supplies
and EVAC equipment.
Our PARA-CORP ambulances and vehicles are fourwheel drive units specially built for the hazards and
terrain common to remote fire incidents and distant
encampments.
Para-Corp personnel are
Emergency Medical Technicians, Paramedics, Wildland
Firefighters and support
personnel with a variety of
support emergency vehicles.
All Para-Corp personnel meet high-level entry requirements, receive appropriate training, and gain
additional responsibilities within the program only
after sufficient experience and proof of competency
through our internal training, drills, and unit deployment activities.
Para-Corp medical unit Leaders, supervisors, and
command personnel ensure that all medical personnel are operating within the scope of their assigned
responsibilities and duties.
