Colour: Light straw in colour Smell: Floral top notes (yes, my wife used to work in the fragrance industry) Taste: Smooth, refreshing, lightly hopped and dangerously easy to drink GRANITE PILS the Saaz hops are a stand out. Colour: Deep golden in colour Smell: Cut hay Taste: Refreshing with a slightly bitter back palate INDIA PALE ALE this is a hoppy little number. Colour: Golden Smell: Herbaceous with passionfruit Taste: Sharp bitter back palate with a hint of pine HATTERS WHEAT this is a refreshing version using rolled wheat. Colour: Cloudy and the colour of Stanthorpe’s winter lawn. Smell: Fresh and floral from the late hop addition Taste: Thick full mouth feel, refreshing IRISH RED ALE (IRA) this seems to be the peoples choice for complexity. Colour: Deep copper red Smell: Sweetly fragranced with East Kent Golding hops at the end of the boil Taste: Toffee caramel with a bitter finish POZIERS PORTER the chocolate undertones make this a great beer to finish on.
