Welcome to Willingtown
W
illingtown is a small village in the countryside of western England inhabited by hard
working peasant farmers and crafters. The little village is well known for hosting one of
the finest Market faires in all of England each year to celebrate the harvest. The small
town is buzzing with excitement as they anticipate that Her Royal Majesty, Queen Elizabeth, will
make an appearance at today’s festivities. She is overjoyed to welcome back to the shores of Merry
Ole England the most famous explorer of the time, Sir Francis Drake. He brings with him exotic
traders from the East who shall display their wares alongside the local crafters. Entertainers from
throughout Europe bring music and dance to the streets and stages during this day of color and
splendor. Inside the gates of Willingtown, fine food, hearty drink, wondrous crafts and romantic
revelry await those who come to play.

Featured Artisan: Stuart Abelman
Daily Glassblowing Demonstration at the
Glass Blowers Stage
Stuart uses his own formulas and the finest silica sand to
ensure the purest quality glass possible. Each piece is made
entirely of hot molten glass and is worked and completed at
the furnace. All the colors and design patterns are formed
from the hot glass. No paint is used. Many of the beautiful
colors are made with gold, silver and other precious metals.
Stuart has journeyed through so many new frontiers in the
American hand blown art glass studio movement including
extensive commission work for the movie and entertainment
industry and was once heard to say, “I have been working
with hot glass for over thirty-five years and I am certain it
runs through my veins.”
Check the schedule at the Glass Blowers Stage for times or
stop by the Abelman Art Glass booth for more information.
