WIN from 1B McCreary broke the game open in their half of the second inning, scoring 7 runs on 4 hits, an error and 2 hit batters. 10 batters came to the plate in the inning as McCreary took an 8-3 lead. The Raiders added a run in the third after Vaughn was hit by a pitch to lead off the inning and would later score on a Dakota Wallen single to center. In the bottom of the fifth McCreary took advantage of three straight dropped third strikes and pair of passed balls to add two more runs for a 11-3 lead. Finally, in the sixth inning McCreary clinched the game with a pair of runs thanks to three walks and an error for the 13-3 win. The Raiders’ luck ended Tuesday when they hosted the Wayne County Cardinals for their second district game of the season. The Cardinals won 12-2. The loss dropped the Raiders’ season record to 3-11, and 0-2 in District play. The Raiders will get a chance to avenge their earlier loss to Monticello on Thursday when they host the Trojans at 5:30 p.m. Friday Whitley County comes to McCreary Central and the home stand concludes Monday with a game against North Laurel. Sheriff’s Report By Gus Skinner McCreary County Sheriff Arrest Report April 7-13, 2013 Nikki Duncan, age 25, of Oneida TN was arrested on April 8 at approximately 16:08 at the Sheriff’s Office on an indictment for Tampering with Physical Evidence, Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Degree, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Duncan turned herself in. Timothy W. Hines, age 31, of Jones Hollow Road was arrested on April 8 at approximately 18:16 on KY 1651 South on a warrant for Non-payment of Fines. Terry Troxell, age 43, of Stearns was arrested on April 9 at approximately 02:30 on Wilburn K. Ross Highway for DUI (Drug), Careless Driving, Prescription Controlled Substance not in Proper Container, and No Insurance. Roy Garland, age 48, of Marshes Siding was arrested on April 10 at approximately 04:00 on US 27 for Assault 4th (Domestic Violence). Zachariah Jones, age 23, of Pine Knot was arrested on April 12 at approximately 15:54 on Crabtree Road on a Parole Violation warrant. Cynthia Clark, age 44, of Pryor Road was arrested on April 12 at approximately 23:07 on Robert Neal Road on a Pulaski County warrant for Failure to Appear.
