SACRAMENTAL PREPARATION
For First Communion, the student must be in First Grade or 6 – 13 years old, be able
to read and write in English or Spanish. This is a two year program.

Rite of Christian Initiation (RCIA/RCIC)
RCIC (children) students who need the Sacraments of initiation must be 6 – 17 years

BAPTISMS/BAUTISMOS

for Baptism. Interviews will be conducted by appointment with a priest or deacon.

In all circumstances give thanks.
Oh God,
In times of joy, I’m grateful. I know that gratitude is the sign of a
sentitive heart. Especially, as a giver, I gladly receive thanks,
though I don’t ask. You also smile when we offer thanks, though
you don’t demand.
In times of sorrow, how could my heart be at peace and my lips
promptly say thanks?
Of course, you don’t expect gratitude out of our misfortunes. But
you remind us not to forget all the good things you’ve given. You
want us to recall the joy and graces received – among the sorrows
and pain – so that joy neutralizes sorrow, graces soothe suffering.

Child, go out and work in the vineyard today.
They are like gardens beside a stream, like the cedars planted by the
LORD.
Oh God,
Oh God,
The greater the love, the more the lover wants to share with the
beloved. Thus, you share with us the entire universe with all its
beauty and marvel, fur us to enjoy, including our own life and body.
Everyone wants a fruitful life to serve others and glorify God. Even
inanimate creatures glorify you and serve humans by giving fragance
and fruits.
When we betrayed you, you not only didn’t condemn us but come
down to earth to save us. It’s so because you love us unconditionally,
even when we crucified you.
Humans create beauty and search for truth in order to know
themselves and the meaning of life. You don’t need us as inventors or
geniuses, but only want us to recognize and develop all our given
talents, and use them as instruments of your love.
You invite us to work in your vineyard, as single and married, as
priest and religious. Talents and health, knowledge and effort, you
grant us all to serve in your vineyard.
Now, oh Lord, in the day, have I used my talents as you desire to
engender food for life and glory for you?
Oh God, sanctify all I have and turn them into effective instruments
to enrich life and gladen hearts, to spread the Good News and make
your Kingdom come, now and forever. Amen
Forgive me and help me, so that your graces keep on bearing fruits,
the talents bewtowed on me sing of your glory, now and forever.

Todo el mundo quiere una vida fructífera para servir a otros y
glorificar a Dios. Incluso las cosas inanimadas te glorifican, serven a
los humanos dando sus frutos y fragancias.
Cuanto mayor es el amor, más el amante desea compartir con los
amados. Por lo tanto, tu compartes con nosotros el universo entero
con toda su belleza y maravilla, para que lo podamos disfrutar,
incluyendo nuestra propia vida y cuerpo.
Los seres humanos crean la belleza y la búsqueda de la verdad con el
fin de conocerse a sí mismos y el sentido de la vida. Tú no nos

sacerdote y religiosos. Talentos y salud, conocimiento y esfuerzo nos
otorgas para servirte en tu viña.
Perdóname y ayúdame, para que tud dones sigan produciendo frutos,
y los talentos puestos en mí canten tu gloria, ahora y por siempre.

The genealogy of Jesus.
The child is named Emmanuel, which means God-is- with-us.
Oh God,
Oh God,
Such is humanity: Cain murdered Abel. The four women in your
genealogy were not different: Tamar seducing her father-in-law;
Rahab the harlot at Jericho; Ruth the gentile; Bathsheba the adulterer.
Among your many titles, Emmanuel, God-is-with-us, speaks most to
me of your closeness and love. How come for you to be with us, you
had to suffer unimaginably? Is it becasue the greater the love, the
greater the sacrifice? Is it because the more we sin, the more you
suffer on our behalf?
As for me, I’ve heard so much pain and sorrow that I even wondered,
“God, would it be better had I not been born so as not to witness
incredible suffering?” Yet, I forgot that you knew exactly who would
deny you, who would betray you, and all those who would run away
when you needed them the most. You entered Jerusalem, fully aware
of your imminent death.
Have I ever felt that to cooperate with you, like Mary, Joseph, and
the apostles, there will be times I must face dilemma beyond my
understanding, my heart questioning if it is really your will?
Oh Lord, let me be with you, so as to let your love embrace me, such
that when storms come, I go forth though uncertain, I trust though
not understanding, each day of my life until I am with you forever in
your Kingdom. Amen.
All that because your love is greater than our worst sins, the joy you
want to give dis eeper than the cruelest violence.
Oh Lord, when facing evil, let me come to you first, to learn how to
love, to overcome darkness, and continue to be full of trust and peace.
Amen.
El niño es llamado Emmanuel, que significaDios con nosotros.
Oh Dios,
La genealogía de Jesús.
Entre sus muchos nombres, Emmanuel, Dios con-nosotros, hablan
mucho de tu cercanía y amor. ¿Cómo es que para que estés entre
nosotros, tuviste que sufrir inimaginablemente? ¿Es porque cuanto
mayor es el amor, mayor es el sacrificio? ¿Es porque entre mas
pecamos mas sufres por nosotros?
Oh Dios,
Tal es la humanidad: Caín mató a Abel. Las cuatro mujeres en tu
genealogía no eran diferentes: Tamar seducio a su suegro; Rahab la
ramera de Jericó; Ruth la gentil; Betsabé la adúltera.
¿Alguna vez he pensado que manera podría, como María, José y los
apóstoles, habrá momentos en que debo enfrentar el dilema más allá
de mi comprensión, mi corazón preguntara si realmente es tu
voluntad?
En cuanto a mí, he oído hablar de mucho dolor y tristeza que incluso
me pregunto: "Dios, ¿sería mejor si no hubier nacido para no
presenciar el sufrimiento?" Sin embargo, se me olvidaba que sabias
exactamente quién te negaría, que te traicionaría, y todos los que
huyeron cuando mas los necesitabas. Entraste a Jerusalén,
plenamente consciente de tu muerte inminente.
Oh Señor, déjame estar contigo, dejando que tu amor me abrace, de
manera que cuando las tormentas lleguen, pase por lo inciertoo,
aunque confío en no entender, cada día de mi vida hasta que yo este
en tu Reino. Amén.
Todo eso porque tu amor es más grande que nuestros peores pecados,
la alegría que nos das disipa aun la violencia más cruel.
Oh Señor, cuando me enfrente a mal, dejame llegar a ti primero,a
aprender a amar para poder superar la oscuridad y estar lleno de
confianza y paz. Amén.

The two barren mothers were given sons (Samson and John).
Nothing will be impossible for God.
Oh God,
Oh God,
For a Jewish mother, barrenness was the greatest shame, and relatives
from both sides would blame her for her lack of divine blessings. To
the mothers of Samsom and John, howerver immense the shame, the
more profound the joy at the news of the birth of a son. God took
their shame away and replace it with ceaseless gladness.
Nowadays, the facts that the cripple walk, the blind see, the deaf hear,
and the barren give birth, are no longer fantastical. But then humans
become proud, rejecting God from their thinking and desiring.
At the saem time, myriad illnesses continue to plague. Moreover, new
diseases strike: depression, neuroses, addiction of all kinds,
decadence of all shapes, making happiness more fleeting and out of
reach. Progress is much, but decline is even more.
Oh Lord, often I feel my life as barren as a dead tree, fruitless like the
barren womb of a mother. I want to do much I’m unable. Sometimes
frustrations cause me to doubt; my imperfection furiates me.
In your almighty hands, the cosmos is sustained at every moment. In
your lovng heart, loneliness is cured, pain is soothed, illness is
healed, at least not physically then spiritually.
God, let me not run before your grace, but patiently waiting, readily
listening, so that when your grace breaks in, I’m ready to receive.
Then, shame evaporates and slavific joy overwhelms. Amen.
Oh Lord, through every event of my life, good or bad, let me more
and more grasp the truth: to you, nothing is impossible. Amen
Dos mujeres esteriles dieron a luz dos hijos (Sanson y Juan).
Oh Dios,
.Nada es imposible para Dios.
Para una madre judía, la infertilidad era la mayor vergüenza, y los
familiares de ambas partes podrían culparlas por su falta de
bendiciones divinas. Para las madres de Sansom y Juan, lo mas
profundo de la vergüenza, más profunda era la alegría por la noticia
del nacimiento de un hijo. Dios tomó su vergüenza y la reemplazarlo
con alegría incesantes.
Oh Dios,
Hoy en día, los hechos que el cojo camina, los ciegos ven, los sordos
oyen, y la mujer estéril dan a luz, ya no es grandiozo. Pero entonces
los humanos se enorgullecen, rechazando a Dios de su forma de
pensar y deseo.
Oh Señor, a menudo siento que mi vida es tan estéril como un árbol
muerto, inútil como la matriz estéril. Quiero hacer mucho pero soy
incapaz. A veces las frustraciones hacen que dude; mi imperfección
me enoja..
Al mismo tiempo, enfermedades innumerables nos siguen afectando.
Por otra parte, nuevas enfermedades llegan: la depresión, la neurosis,
la adicción de todo tipo, decadencia en todas sus formas, haciendo
que la felicidad más este fuera del alcance. El progreso es mucho,
pero la decadencia es aún más.
Dios, dejame llegar a tu gracia, esperar pacientemente, listo para
escuchar, de modo que cuando tu gracia llegue, este listo para
recibirla. Entonces, la vergüenza se evaporara y la alegría salvífica
me abrumara. Amén.
En tus manos, el cosmos se sustenta en cada momento. En tu amoroso
corazón, la soledad se cura, el dolor se calma, la enfermedad se cura,
al menos no físicamente pero espiritualmente.
Oh Señor, a través de todos los acontecimientos de mi vida, buenos o
malos, dejamo abrazar la verdad: para ti, nada es imposible. Amén.

Por espirito de Navidad la comunidad puede contribuir cogiendo un
sobre decorativo del árbol de Navidad adornando el altar de la iglesia
y se le pide que done una tarjeta de VISA o del banco/tienda predilecta
con valor de $10 dólares como ayuda para que familias necesitadas
puedan comprar un regalito a sus hijos. Si alguna familia quisiera
donar más de una tarjeta puede pero tienen que ser por valor de $10
cada una. La iglesia regalara una tarjeta por niño que será utilizada
para ayudar a las familias necesitadas a comprar regalito a sus hijos
ahora en Navidad. Feligreses que conozcan familias necesitadas con
niños se les pide que completen el VOLANTE con la información
requerida, con letra de molde para poder leerla y la traigan a la
SACRISTIA antes del 17 de Diciembre o echen el volante en el canasto
de la iglesia de la colecta durante la misa(s) del Sábados y Domingos;
Diciembre 14 y 15.

to Mass, meetings or other events on campus. Please make sure that
you transfer your personal items to the trunk of your car at home
before you leave not here where you can be seen. Please be vigilant
and report any suspicious activity do not approach anyone.

In the spirit of Christmas we are asking members of our community to
contribute to assist needy families in our Most Holy Trinity parish by
taking a decorated envelope from our Christmas Tree at the Alter in
our church to donate NOT A PRESENT but a $10 gift-card (VISA or
any bank/store will do) for needy children in our community. If
someone would like to donate more than one gift-card we ask that you
can do as many as you want with a value of $10 each. Church will
distribute one gift-card per child. To designate the gift card to the
appropriate member of the needy family we ask that Parishioners fill
out the NEEDY/FAMILY INFORMATION in portion below enclosed
in Sunday’s bulletin. Must be filled out completely, in PRINT,
and turn it over to Rectory no later than December 18 or turn it
in Saturday or Sunday, December 13th and 14th in the collection basket
during Mass.
Most Holy Trinity Preschool
Most Holy Trinity Preschool is excited to announce the formation of
an Afternoon Preschool Program. The afternoon program is offered
from 1:30pm to 5:30pm. Each of our programs accepts children
from 3 years of age up to entry into First Grade.
At Most Holy Trinity Preschool, we help children learn about the
alphabet, numbers, pre-reading, early math & science and our
Catholic faith & traditions. Our teachers guide young children to
develop the social skills that will lead to success in Kindergarten and
Elementary School. Our goal is to encourage a lifelong love of
learning by establishing a strong foundation of basic concepts and
increasing each child's confidence in building positive relationships
with teachers and peers.
Dear Most Holy Trinity Community,
Most Holy Trinity Preschool has a variety of program options. We
offer care Monday - Friday from 7am - 6pm. We have a full day
program from 8am to 4pm and two half day programs: from 8am to
12 noon and from 1:30pm to 5:30pm. We also offer extended care
hours.
Our cookie dough fundraiser will be in January 2015.
The full day and morning program are currently full but we do have
space for your child in our afternoon program. Our waiting list is
always open and we are accepting applications for next school year
(August 2015 to June 2016).
Thank you to all our parent/guardian volunteers who help at
MHT School. You are a blessing!!!

Healthy Eating During the Holidays

are 3 common foods that can add sodium to your diet.
