WORTHY PRESIDENT
Hello Brothers and Sisters,
I want to thank everyone for their support of ALL the
functions. We are having a Golf Tournament in May of 2014.
I am asking for everyone to help with
suggestions as to how to make this
tournament a huge success. Please get with
me with your creative ideas. We are gong
to have Hole Sponsors and will need to
get Door Prizes. I will need all the help I
can get. Thanks in advance.
Worthy President

LETTER FROM MADAM PRESIDENT
My brothers and sisters. I hope many of you saw the new plants on our patio.
Many thanks to Margaret Thomas, Robyn Davis, Dorothy Sackmann, Denise Oja
and John Macalusa. Now that the weather is getting cooler please feel free to relax
on our renovated patio. August charities were the Youth Rally and the Dog Chain
Club. For those of you who do not know what the Dog Chain Club is, the Eagles
raise money to train seeing eye dogs as well as other disabilities. The Youth Rally
raised $167.00 and the Dog Chain raised $724.00. Thank you Michael Davis and
Gary Rosenbaum. September our Charity was the State Presidents charity, Arnold
Palmer Children’s Hospital. Our chair people, Michael Davis, Betsy Gray and
Maryanne Poupore raised a whopping $1366.00. We have several exciting events
going on in the next two months. November our charity is DD Dunlap Kidney
Fund, the chair people are myself, Gary Rosenbaum and Zita Vankus. We are
hosting a Halloween Party November 1, 2013. We will be having a costume contest,
so please feel free to dress up in your craziest costumes. November 15, we will be
hosting another ‘Murder Mystery Dinner’ set in the 1970’s Disco. We did this last
year and everyone had a blast. Another special event is a poker tournament on
Saturday November 23. $10.00 buy in and a guarantee of $200.00 for the winner. We
will also being raffling off $100 worth of Scratch Off Tickets as well as a cruise on a
charter boat (3 winners plus their guests.) Our December charity will be Harmony
House our local children’s charity. Please check our newsletter as well as notices at
the club. Remember, I would love to hear all of your ideas, compliments and
complaints. We also welcome any and all help for our various
charities, though we may have chair people each month, I know
they would love to have extra volunteers. (You do not have to be an
officer to help.) Please feel free to contact me at ‘ michelleatfoe.com’ .
We truly are ‘People helping People’. I want to wish all our
members happy holidays from our home to yours.
Sincerely
Michelle Rosenbaum, Madam President
