Harriet Tubman Pilgrimage of Courage
October 23-24, 2015
Join us for an overnight pilgrimage to Maryland’s Eastern Shore to explore the life

transcend time challenging us to strive for justice and freedom.
As a community of diverse pilgrims, we will visit sites that empowered Harriet
Tubman to lead enslaved people to freedom in the face of tremendous danger. We
will contemplate the relationships and sanctuaries that formed the Underground
Railroad, and we’ll reflect on how Harriet’s story intersects with our stories in the
ongoing journey to freedom.
