Welcome to our July market report for 2013. In this report we advise the results of some 36 properties that were offered for public sale across
Australia. This number is well down on previous months. The status Quo remains the same as previous months with the majority of the properties being offered for sale in July being submitted to sale by public auction. The results show a similar result as last month with a similar market
result with 13 known sales to date or a 36.0% success rate, and a number of properties are still being negotiated with by a number of agents
which should result in further sales being made.
As witnessed by the number of forthcoming auctions and sales in this report the number of properties being offered for sale during the winter
months has fallen away strongly with only 42 properties to be reported on for August. The number of properties being offered in September
will show an increase as we head into the spring.

The historic mansion of “Mintaro”will be back on the market after last years spring sale fell through. The 9.9 hectare property was sold last
November for $3m but the deal has fallen through due to the buyers being unable to sell their property and secure finance.
The mansion was built in 1882 by Captain Robert Gardiner and the heritage listed property needs some TLC to be applied to it.
