L’azienda VIVAI DE LAURENTIIS di Moreno Pinto nasce nel 1990 in continuità con la
tradizionale attività di famiglia già fondata all’inizio degli anni trenta a cura del nonno del
titolare: il Cav. Francesco De Laurentiis.
Il vivaio ad oggi vanta una storia e una tradizione di oltre mezzo secolo; fondato tra il
1929 ed il 1930, con la denominazione Cav. FRANCESCO DE LAURENTIIS VIVAI
PIANTE E VITI per la produzione di viti, ulivi e piante da frutto, negli anni sessanta ha
incrementato la sua produzione con l’introduzione di alcune varietà di piante ornamentali
ad opera degli eredi del titolare Nicoletta De Laurentiis ed il coniuge Domenico Pinto, in
quel periodo l’azienda assume un’altra denominazione: VIVAI CAV. FRANCESCO DE
LAURENTIIS & FIGLIA.
L’attuale titolare, Moreno Pinto, subentra nella tradizione vivaistica di famiglia ed amplia
la produzione del vivaio valorizzandola anche attraverso la fornitura di servizi di altissima
qualità ai propri clienti: passione, professionalità, accuratezza accompagnate dalla
decennale esperienza nel campo della coltivazione, fanno sì che VIVAI DE LAURENTIIS
produca piante di ottima qualità.
L’azienda ad oggi si sviluppa su una superficie di circa 120.000 mq, dei quali 75.000 mq
in pieno campo e 45.000 mq di produzione in contenitore.
L’ottimale posizione del vivaio, ai confini del Parco Nazionale della Maiella, assicura
l’eccellente qualità dei prodotti offerti grazie soprattutto alla presenza di un microclima
caratterizzato da forti sbalzi termici tra la notte ed il giorno e da basse temperature
durante l’inverno, che conferiscono alle piante resistenza e robustezza.
Già dal 1994 effettua trapianti ed espianti con macchina zollatrice; gli imballaggi di zolle
con straccio e rete partono dal diametro di trentacinque centimetri.
Per quanto riguarda la produzione in vaso, si cerca di effettuare i rinvasi nei periodi
migliori e consegne solo con una buona radicazione.

alla messa in rete di un sito internet con listino prezzi e disponibilità, aggiornato
mensilmente e protetto da password.
I clienti ricevono la disponibilità aggiornata con cadenza mensile tramite e-mail o fax;
inoltre, è possibile consultare un catalogo illustrato che facilita il lavoro di giardinieri e
garden center grazie alla disponibilità di documentazione fotografica di tutto il materiale
disponibile.

L’azienda é presente con i suoi prodotti presso le fiere di settore più importanti in Italia.
VIVAI DE LAURENTIIS fornisce principalmente grossisti, garden center, rivenditori,
allestitori di giardini, imprese ed in piccola parte comuni e privati, avvalendosi della
collaborazione di venditori dislocati nelle varie regioni d’Italia.

L’Azienda ha sviluppato un servizio di consegne settimanali affidando le spedizioni a
trasportatori di fiducia; le consegne della merce in vaso avvengono su carrello, mentre
il materiale in zolla viene caricato sfuso. Le consegne sono comunque personalizzabili
in base alle esigenze dei singoli clienti.

“VIVAI DE LAURENTIIS” nursery garden was established in 1990 by Moreno Pinto in
extension to the traditional family-owned business founded in the 30s by his
grandfather Cav. Francesco De Laurentiis.
The company boasts over fifty years of history and tradition. It was founded between
1929 and 1930 under the name of Cav. FRANCESCO DE LAURENTIIS VIVAI PIANTE
E VITI for the production of grapevines, olives and fruit trees: In the 60s the heirs of
the owner Nicoletta De Laurentiis and her husband Domenico Pinto introduced some
varieties of ornamental plants, increasing the business of the company. The company
itself was renamed: VIVAI CAV. FRANCESCO DE LAURENTIIS & FIGLIA.
Moreno Pinto, who is the current owner, took over the business and developed the
company production, providing high quality services for its customers. Passion,
expertise, attention to detail, along with the ten-year experience in the farming field
are the key-words for the excellent production of plants at VIVAI DEL LAURENTIIS.
The surface of the company is around 120,000 m2: 75,000 m2 for the open-field
production and 45,000 m2 for the potted-plant production.
The excellent position of the garden nursery on the border of the national park ‘Parco
Nazionale della Maiella’ provides high quality products, thanks above all to a
microclimate which is characterized by sudden heavy changes in temperatures
between night and day and by low temperatures during the winter conferring
resistance and strength to the plants.
Since 1994 the nursery garden has performed transplants and explants with tree
digger; plant packaging with cloth and net are available starting from 35 cm in
diameter.
In the matter of potted-plants it is necessary to re-pot in the best periods of the year
and delivery only when the plants have good rooting.
VIVAIO DE LAURENTIIS can be contacted anytime and from anywhere thanks to the
website, updated every month and password protected, with price-list of the plants.
The clients receive the availability of the products every month via e-mail or fax,
furthermore it is possible to consult the illustrated catalogue which helps out the
work of the gardeners and garden centres thanks to the pictures of all the products
available.
The company exhibits its products at the most important trade fairs in Italy.
VIVAI DE LAURENTIIS supplies wholesalers, garden centres, retailers, garden
exhibitors, firms and, in a small part, municipalities and private enterprises, availing
itself of sellers available in different regions of Italy.
The company has developed a weekly delivery service, entrusting carriers to deliver
its products: potted-plant products are delivered by trolleys, plants products are
loaded unpacked. Personalized delivery services offered.
