Glass Breakage Sensor (GBS)
GBS is an add-on device for vehicles that already have a
factory installed anti-theft system
• Provides an additional layer of active and passive protection
against attempted break-ins with visual identification of its
presence
How GBS works
• Relies on a highly sensitive microphone designed to detect the
specific frequencies of glass being struck or broken. When
detected, it activates the anti-theft system, sounds the alarm (vehicle horn), and activates
the engine immobilizer. It is capable of ignoring sounds not associated with glass being
struck or broken, helping to prevent the inconvenience of false alarms
• Integrates seamlessly with the vehicle’s existing factory anti-theft system and remote
keyless entry system
• Armed and disarmed along with the anti-theft system by using the remote keyless entry fob
Vehicle Intrusion Protection (VIP RS3200 Plus)
VIP RS3200 Plus is a complete vehicle security system and
Glass Breakage Sensor (GBS) for vehicles that are equipped
with a factory remote keyless entry system.
How VIP RS3200 Plus works
Three different alarm functions
• Panic alarm remotely triggers vehicle’s alarm (vehicle horn)
when activated from key fob
• Warn-away alarm triggers if an object striking on a window is
detected (integrated GBS)
• Break-in alarm is activated when forced entry of any door (or the hatchback) is attempted,
or if glass is broken (integrated GBS)
Other features include:
• Integrated into factory remote keyless entry fob.
• Remote arming and disarming within 80 foot range
• Door ajar warning reminds driver to lock vehicle
• Automatic rearming and relocking
• Interior light activates when vehicle is unlocked with key fob
• Rolling code technology changes the remote code, helping prevent code theft
• Activates Engine Immobilizer when intrusion is detected
• Glass breakage sensor (GBS)
• Highly sensitive microphone detects the specific sound frequency of striking on glass or
glass breakage
• Sounds a warn-away alarm (vehicle horn) if object striking on a window is detected
• Sounds alarm (vehicle horn) and activates engine immobilizer if a window is broken
