Daytrippers Dinnner Theater Last Train to Nibroc Alaska Yukon
Spring 2013 If you are like me, you are anxious for warm weather and green grass. It’s been a long winter but it’s probably pay back for the unseasonably warm winter weather we enjoyed last year. - July 31st - Daytrippers Dinnner Theater Last Train to Nibroc Includes lunch, show and transportation - August 1-12 - Alaska Yukon Discovery Tour - August 28th - Plymouth Playhouse The Church Basement Ladies are back in the Last Potluck Supper. Citizens State Bank had another good year in 2012 and we are excited about the early signs that the economy is showing signs of recovery in 2013. It seems like the real estate market has finally found its bottom and that prices have begun to slowly improve over the past 6 months. Hopefully the politicians will continue to be so busy arguing and not accomplishing anything that they won’t have time to mess up the recovery this year! We have a number of great trips planned in 2013 and I hope that you will take advantage of as many as possible. In March, we had a trip to the Plymouth Playhouse for the Ring of Fire show. It was about Johnny Cash. In July, there is a day trip to the Daytrippers Dinner Theatre at the Bloomington Eagles Club. This play is about a soldier, school teacher and a train. Oldfashioned love story that will take you on a journey of the heart. In August, there is a terrific trip planned for travel to Alaska. Also the end of August, going back to the Plymouth Playhouse for the Church Ladies Last Potluck Supper. Plans are in the works for trips in the fall and late in the year for a Christmas show. Stay tuned for more details on those trips later this year. Please contact one of our Citizens Elite coordinators to find out more information about all of these trips. - October 15th - LaCrosse Queen Cruise One day trip Includes lunch and transportation Stop in or call your local branch for more information and sign up to come for a great time! This means that spring cleaning is underway – time to wash the windows, dust away those cobwebs, and shake out the rugs. Since you are taking care of fine tuning the house, why not devote some time to clean up your finances as well? When it comes to investments, here are a few things to consider. Rebalance your portfolio. When’s the last time you looked at your portfolio allocation? Many folks like to practice asset allocation, and keep certain percentages of their portfolio in specific types of investments. This is not a bad approach, but it is important that you are monitoring your allocation to assure that your portfolio risk matches your financial goals and needs. Spread the Word! Only three doors Revisit your life insurance coverage. With insurance, we tend to run on autopilot – thinking I have insurance and therefore am covered. It may be a good time to review your current life insurance costs and reevaluate your coverage needs. An airline captain was breaking in a new blonde stewardess. The route they were flying had a layover in another city. Upon their arrival, the captain showed the stewardess the best place for airline personnel to eat, shop and stay overnight. Create a retirement plan. If you have not taken this step, add it as #1 on your spring cleaning to-do list. Start by defining your vision for retirement. By establishing clear goals for your future, you give yourself the base for how you need to build your financial plan and then can determine appropriate strategies for how to obtain your goals. The next morning, as the pilot was preparing the crew for the day’s route, he noticed the new stewardess was missing. He knew which room she was in at the hotel and called her up wondering what happened. She answered the phone, crying, and said she couldn’t get out of her room. “You can’t get out of your room?” the captain asked, “Why not?” Need help getting a start on these financial spring cleaning ideas? The stewardess replied: “There are only three doors in here,” she sobbed, “one is the bedroom, one is the closet, and one has a sign on it that says ‘Do Not Disturb’!” Investment Centers of America, Inc.
