This is a snapshot indicating the general activity of a
website. The more total visits a website has, the greater online exposure that’s created. As we can
see with the Anicare data, website visits have increased 30% over this time period (less than a
month). This immediate increase is significant, suggesting that either more new visitors are coming to
the website, and/or that the current visitors are engaging with the website more frequently.
Total Page Views
This describes the number of website pages viewed in
total. The greater the number of Page Views, the greater traction the website has gained by its

Bounce Rate
This measures the percentage of website visitors
that immediately leave a website once they arrive. As you can imagine, if 80% of visitors immediately
leave, there is a problem with how that website engages with those visitors. As we can see from the
Anicare data, the DVM Elite platform has lowered their Bounce Rate by 7%, further
indicating increased engagement and visitor satisfaction. What’s more, we would expect this number
to grow higher once the site is fully optimized as it currently only reflects > 1 month of being active.
Average Time On Site
This is an excellent indicator of how
visitors are engaging with veterinary websites. In our modern society, where time has become such a
premium, seeing the compelling 45% increase in Average Time On Site means Anicare clients are
reading more of the content, engaging with the interactive elements on the website, and visiting a
greater number of pages. These results are extremely significant and are further proof of DVM
