Harry started practicing Aikido in 1989, shortly afterwards with Jikishinkage-ryū
Kendo and was a protégé of Masatomi Ikeda Sensei who returned to Japan in 2003.
Today he is a leading pupil of Rinzai Roshi Sasaki Genso, the dharma successor of
Omori Sogen Roshi, successor of the Tenryū-ji line of Rinzai Zen and former scholar of
the 15. Jikishinkage-ryū Soke, Yamada Jirōkichi. Both teachings ( Rinzai Zen and
Jikishinkage- ryu Kendo ) are transmitted from master to master for centuries. Together
they form the basics of Zen sword (sword Dharma).
Harry‘s Zen practice comprises Zazen, Kendo and Aikido.
