Welcome to D&H Cattle Company’s Bred to Buck Sale!
We have been breeding Bucking Bulls for 30 years and we still have that
same burning desire to produce the next superstar. We realized years ago
that to consistently produce great bucking bulls they must be backed by great
dams. Our cow herd is as good today as it ever has been but we still want to
make it better.
This offering comes right out of the heart of our program. These females
are young and in the prime of their life. If you look back at our previous sales,
you will see we sell females that produce the great ones. The 2010 American
Heritage Futurity Champion’s dam sold right here! These females are bred to
produce and here for the taking!
Four years ago we started offering the top cut of our yearling bulls in this
sale. HD selected the bulls on a combination of pedigree and how they
bucked. We will have videos of the bulls bucking on our web site prior to the
sale and available for viewing sale day. The yearling bulls selling will be eligible to come back (only the yearling bulls selling will be eligible) to the D&H
and Buck Incentive Futurity next year which pays $15,000 to the winner.
We would like to send out a huge thank you to the PBR and the ABBI for
what they have done for our industry. We also want to thank the guys that
make it happen for us here at home every day; Jackie Hunter, Buddy Lewis,

HD handpicked this set of yearling bulls out of 200 head. They were selected by their performance and pedigree, We believe this is the best set of yearlings we have ever offered.
We will have those videos available for viewing prior to the sale. We breed to yearling
bulls each year and no doubt there are several of these we wouldn’t think twice about
breeding to this year. So if that is something you are interested in please contact us.
D&H Cattle Company has been fortunate in the Futurity and Classic events the past four
years. We know our claim to fame isn’t Futurity bulls and that’s not our main goal. We
want bulls that can win in the Classics and make it in the PBR.
Several of these bulls are paid current for the 2012 American Heritage, and all of the yearling bulls selling are eligible for the 2012 D&H and Buck Incentive Futurity, which will be
held following the 2012 American Heritage. Only the bulls selling in this sale will be eligible to compete in the Incentive Futurity which will payout over $30,000.
Fifty percent interest is being offered in some of the bulls selling. If you purchase one of
these bulls, D&H Cattle Company will provide feed, care, and management. The buyer
pays 100% of the entry fee and 50% of all vet bills. The income will be divided equally.
The buyer can breed to that bull for 45 days each year. If you are interested in purchasing half interest in a bull please contact HD, Dillon, or Jirl prior to the sale for more information and details. Sit back and enjoy!
