theatre
brilliant choreography to the side splitting
humour, Men In Pink Tights is a show designed for the young and old.
The greatest troupe of it is kind around the globe; Les Ballet Ballet’s Elolle features over fifty ballets in its

Following the success of an Australian tour in February/March 2011,
Grammy Award-nominated American singer and best-selling author
Belinda Carlisle is returning in March 2012.
John Butler Trio has toured extensively around Australia and the world.
She gained worldwide recognition as the lead vocalist of the most successful
all-female band The Go-Go’s, who made history as the first all-female

the Billboard charts.
In 2012 John Butler is stripping it back to basics and embarking on
a solo tour. Mandurah Performing Arts Centre will experience the first
of these unique shows, with an intimate performance from the singer/
songwriter and guitarist extraordinaire.

THE GENERAL –
VIOLA DANA

Glasgow in 1969, they have released over 30 albums and undergone many
changes of line-up. Several former members have developed distinguished
solo careers.

tenors unlimited
mirvac presents the crabfest saturday night gala
Tenors UnLimited are not known around the world as The Rat Pack of
Opera for nothing! Incomparably charming, undeniably suave, and more
than a little bit, well, sexy, these three UK-based tenors are also exceedingly
talented. A night in the company of these three lovable rogues leaves you
feeling you spent the evening in the company of James Bond, Michael
Bublé and Andrea Bocelli over a game of Russian Roulette at the Moulin
Rouge! By the end of the first song you’ll understand how they have come
to attract the ‘Rat Pack’ title.
The three friends came together having already enjoyed distinguished solo
careers in the opera, theatre and recording worlds. They set out to bring
their own unique blend of wit, charm and vocal arrangements – along with
original compositions – to the classical crossover genre, and the recipe
seems to be working very, very well: Scott, Paul and Jem have performed
alongside such notables as Sting, Hayley Westenra, Lionel Ritchie, Simply
Red, Beyoncé, The Opera Babes and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra…
to name just a few.
The General accompanied by a live performance by Viola Dana of
Kathy Corecig’s new soundtrack.
This classic 1926 silent comedy, Buster Keaton/Clyde Bruckman’s The
General is set during the American Civil War. Perth band Viola Dana’s
live performance to The General takes the audience back to the 1920s
film viewing experience. Kathy Corecig’s new soundtrack for the
film is infused with American folk tunes, Steve Reich-inspired train
evocations and the spontaneity of jazz improvisation to help illuminate
Keaton’s masterful performance for a contemporary audience.
“One of the faves though would have to bechildren’s

Viola Dana to Keaton’s The General. Standing
ovation and all, their
work was nothing short of brilliant...it brought the house down.” 2009

Follow That Dream – The Gospel According to Elvis is best described as a
‘multi-media stage play’ that recounts the career and private life of Elvis
Presley through song, storytelling and video.
The new musical that follows Elvis Presley, after his passing, reflecting on
an extraordinary life – from humble beginnings in Tupelo, Mississippi,
to a life of excess in Las Vegas. The production uses visionary silhouette
performance techniques and introduces the audience to those who helped
shape Elvis Presley into the King; from his parents to Priscilla and from
The Colonel to Sam Phillips at Sun Studios.
Max Pellicano aka Elvis to the Max stars as Elvis Presley, narrating his
own life and singing songs to fit the story. This theatre show has Max
Pellicano cleverly telling the life story of Elvis Presley with words, songs
and silhouette action behind screened panels on each side of himself....plus
a large overhead video screen displaying phases of Elvis Presley’s life and
appearances.
