John Butler Trio has toured extensively around Australia and the world. She gained worldwide recognition as the lead vocalist of the most successful all-female band The Go-Go’s, who made history as the first all-female music group to write their own songs and play their own instruments to top the Billboard charts. In 2012 John Butler is stripping it back to basics and embarking on a solo tour. Founded in theatre Glasgow in 1969, they have released over 30 albums and undergone many changes of line-up. Incomparably charming, undeniably suave, and more than a little bit, well, sexy, these three UK-based tenors are also exceedingly talented. A night in the company of these three lovable rogues leaves you feeling you spent the evening in the company of James Bond, Michael Bublé and Andrea Bocelli over a game of Russian Roulette at the Moulin Rouge! By the end of the first song you’ll understand how they have come to attract the ‘Rat Pack’ title. The three friends came together having already enjoyed distinguished solo careers in the opera, theatre and recording worlds. This classic 1926 silent comedy, Buster Keaton/Clyde Bruckman’s The General is set during the American Civil War.
