Null- Lairson Holiday Art Contest
Houston-based CPA firm, Null-Lairson, partnered w ith Carrillo Elementary school in
HISD to bring their friends and clients a truly unique and beautiful holiday card, designed by third grader Nivetha Natarajan. Nivetha is the first place w inner of the firm’s
annual holiday art contest. The contest w as held betw een the third grade students at
Carrillo Elementary. Three finalists w ere selected. Each finalist received a backpack
filled w ith art supplies, w hile the first place w inner’s entry w as used as the face of the
Null-Lairson holiday card. "The students of Carrillo Elementary w ere inspired by the fantastic opportunity presented by Null-Lairson to use their imaginations to create the
cover design for the annual holiday card. We truly appreciate Null-Lairson and their
commitment to children,” said principal Mary Hallinan. Null-Lairson w ould like to thank
Carrillo Elementary, HISD and their very talented and creative group of students for

First place was designed by Nivetha Natarajan. First
place was used as the cover of the 2005 Null-Lairson
holiday card.
Second place went to Noah Schnur and third place went
to Jose Rudy Pena.
The winners received backpacks filled with art supplies.
Each participating student received a goodie bag.
