Mary Lou Hemstreet Our Heritage Reflecting on what to leave our friends and underclassmen brings us to a fuller realization of what we have received from.
P. C. S. But, how can you leave knowledge so hard won, now an integral part of us, laughs piled on one another in pro
fusion, now only a faint echo, memories glad and sad, too precious, too personal to discard? What's left? Stuff and 11011 _
sense undoubtedly. An inimitable part of our bequest, however, it is our best wishes, our thanks - it's been real.
We, the class of 1963, leave:

ACT I
Scene 1 (Enter various members pictured above carrying
make-up kits, sundry play scripts. Some players are de
claiming in stentorian tones, while others quietly discuss
fundamentals of correct speaking. Left-Center of stage,
important looking person raps gavel. Hush falls over
group all attention focused on Miss Ruggiero, faculty
advisor.)
Miss Ruggiero: "Now, fellow players, let us set our goals
for this year. "
First Player: "Let's put on a play (The Inner Willy).
Second Player: "Let's have a dance."
Third Player: "Let's help the seniors with their play."
Fourth Player: "Let's do all three."
(Curtain descends amid shouts of approval as meeting
comes to a close. )
Amid cries of "deadlines. ,copy. ,space ..
headlines" the junior class attempts to put the
character described above to bed. A brief
trip to the printers and in a few days this char
acter will appear in the halls as the "Scroll, "
a student newspaper.
Feature Reporters gather to discuss work.
Dilligent attention to details and just plain
hard work have made the "Scroll" a keenly
anticipated tri-weekly event at Perth.
Sports Staff plans layout.
Publication and Circulation Staffs
plan better sales promotions.
