Booklet - South State Bank
Exactly what kind of bank is South State? Yours. Welcome to South State Bank Since 1934, South State Bank has been a bank built on service to our customers and communities in South Carolina, Georgia and North Carolina. Knowing our customers personally – being invested in their success and involved in our communities – is how we serve you. By staying true to our values of relationship banking and commitment to our customers and communities we serve, we’re proud to be one of the fastest growing banks in the Southeast. As you may know, South State is purchasing 13 Bank of America branches, 12 in South Carolina and one in Georgia. We are excited to welcome these branches, employees and customers to South State and look forward to serving all of your financial needs. Pending regulatory approval, these branches will transition to South State Bank on Friday, August 21, 2015. You will notice a change in the way you access your accounts and the way the branches look. However, the personal bankers you have come to rely on will still be here to serve you. In an effort to make this transition as smooth as possible for you, we’ve created this welcome booklet to help guide you through this process. If you have any questions while reviewing this information, please call us at (800) 277-2175, and we will be happy to assist you. You may also access more information online at SouthStateBank.com/NewCustomers. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to serve as your financial partner, and we look forward to getting to know you.
