What do I do?
My ministry includes four main aspects. One is children’s ministry at Abundant Life Community Church—
this is a natural place because of the other three roles in which I serve. I also serve with the summer
Fundamentals Camps through the church. I also serve through major evangelism events through the church
such as our Easter at the Mall event we did last year. Lastly I serve as the administrative director for the theatre
ministry—82nd Street Theatre. In future newsletters I will tell you a little more of the details and stories about
our theatre.
I am currently serving part time, and most weeks right now consist of preparing for Worship KidStyle (which
happens on Sundays, doing the various things related to a theatre production (ordering t-shirts, planning a set,
printing tickets, to name a few) and building relationships with cast members and parents. Last year I also
directed the productions Winnie the Pooh and The Best Christmas Pageant Ever.

Ministry Team Expansion!
God has been raising up leaders for the theatre ministry . Of course we are always excited about seeing
families come to the theatre and then find our church and Jesus! But we are also excited when Christian
families are called by God to join our church and then serve in the ministry. This is what God has been
doing lately. There have been several people who have served with us and are excited about how we are
serving the community and reaching out. We believe that it is people like this that will help us build the
relationships we need to further the Gospel to our community.
Did you know? Usually about 20 % of our cast families are prospects to our church who
do not attend any other church. This is also the percentage from our Summer Camps.
