At 208 metres, Bukit Puteri (Princess Hill) is the highest point in
Kuala Terengganu and offers a panoramic view of the Terengganu
River. It is also the site of a former 19th century fortress. Relics and
other reminders of its colourful past can still be found on the hill to
this day, including a large brass bell, cannons, graveyard, flagpole
and lighthouse.
