Facult y:
Jennifer Ryan Duffy
Duffy has spent the past 12 years learning the
language, art, and business side of perfumery. She
knew immediately that she had found her “home”
when she had her first taste of olfactory training in the early days
of her career. She completed her olfactive training at two of the
most prestigious fragrance houses in the world. Duffy started her
career with Firmenich and later Givaudan, where she learned the
finer aspects of this fascinating industry. She was a senior account
executive and her clients included the Estée Lauder Companies,
Coty, and Unilever. She worked on luxury brands such as Tom Ford
Beauty, as well as mass market launches for Dove. Duffy holds a
B.A. in French and Business from SUNY at Albany.
Facult y:
Raymond Matts
Raymond Matts, founder of the perfumery
consultancy of the same name, has experienced
and learned the many facets of the fragrance
industry. Matts has held a range of positions covering all
segments of the business, earning a truly global and prestigious
background throughout his career. At Estée Lauder, Matts
held the position of Vice President of Estée Lauder Fragrances
Worldwide and was responsible for the strategic development
and general management of the company’s global fragrance
group, which includes Aramis, Tommy Hilfiger, Clinique, and
Origin. Matts hold a B.A. in Cosmetics/Fragrance Marketing
from the Fashion Institute of Technology.
