EPISCOPAL. The ladies of the Laredo
Lady Air Squad seemed to have no
problem with the Excel Back to School
Showdown field Sunday until they ran into
a talented Moochie Norris Running Rebel
group out of Houston. The Lady Air
Squad relied on the three-headed monster
of guard play of Kaitlyn Roycroft, Danna
Gonzales, and Rhena Esqueda.
The
Running Rebels depended on the post play
of Veronia Behr and Bethany Reike. As the
game progressed you could see the
consistent guard play of the Lady Air
Squad wearing down on the talented
Running Rebels group. While close the
ladies of Lady Air Squad pulled off the
victory and ran the table going 4-0. The
Running Rebels overcame the loss to finish
the tournament 3-1 and get second.
