Don’t try crashing a wedding at Gunnersbury Park Mansion like Juliet
Stevenson and Keira Knightly in Bend it Like Beckham! Gunnersbury Park
Mansion is a great wedding venue set in a large leafy park between Brentford
and Acton. It has a range of attractions and things to do including formal
gardens, green open spaces, lakes, historic buildings, a museum, play and
sports facilities, and a network of tree-lined paths.

Johansson, Jonathan Rhys
Meyers and Emily Mortimer.
Location: The Queens

Rene Zellwegger (Miss Potter) and Johnny Depp (Jack the Ripper)
have been seen admiring the architecture in the Butts whilst on
location. The Butts is a beautiful Victorian conservation area in
Brentford which is a popular destinaiton with tourists and film
makers. It is located within five minutes of Brentford High Street,
and is very near to the river Thames and Grand Union Canal.
Follow in the footsteps of Helen Mirren and Nigel Hawthorne, who starred in
the Madness of King George, and visit Syon Park, the ancestral home of the
Duke of Northumberland. Syon Park’s unique historic buildings and landscaped
parkland on the river Thames, so close to London and major film studios, is a
favourite location for photoshoots, television and feature filming. Other films
and dramas shot at Syon House include Gosford Park and Daniel Deronda.
Elijah Wood enjoyed a pint here during the filming of Green
Street. The Griffin Pub serves Fullers Beers, which are
brewed locally in Chiswick. It is one of the famous four
pubs that corner Griffin Park, home of Brentford FC and the
London Broncos.
Re-enact Reece Witherspoon’s stroll in the beautiful gardens and take in the
beauty of Chiswick House and Grounds. Chiswick House is considered
to be the finest surviving example of Palladian architecture in Britain, with
superb collections of paintings and furniture. Its surrounding grounds claim
to be the birthplace of the English landscape garden and are thought to be
the most important historical landscapes in England and in Wales. Other
films shot here include Hard Day’s Night and De-lovely.
