Our most tranquil garden, the South Grove includes all the
elements of a private oasis. Nestled within a canopy of trees,
this garden feels tucked away in its own special outdoor
room. The South Grove is the ultimate in privacy and serenity,

Rose Garden
Occupying a spacious area, the Rose Garden is our
largest and most romantic garden, boasting exotic,
luscious blooms and fragrances from more than 1,000
roses. A beautifully ornate pergola frames this garden

With its long, tiered garden aisle, the East Lawn boasts a

of the estate’s magnificent gardens,
Cantigny offers two distinctive reception
venues: Le Jardin at Cantigny Park and
the Red Oak Room at Cantigny Golf.
Le Jardin at Cantigny Park
With its soaring cathedral ceilings and surrounding floorto-ceiling windows, Le Jardin embodies the look and feel
of an outdoor setting. This spacious venue is the perfect
complement to Cantigny’s picturesque gardens. Le Jardin
exudes romance with its fresh, open space and stunning
views of the beautiful landscape during the day and the
illuminated grounds at night.
Formal gardens and open patio seating are close at hand
for the added enjoyment of your guests. Le Jardin is a
popular venue for larger receptions, boasting a sizable
dance floor and accommodations for up to 250 people.
If weather prohibits an outdoor ceremony, and your
reception is planned at Le Jardin, your ceremony will
be performed inside. Mere steps from the reception area,
the roomy Gallery of the Visitors Center serves as the
indoor alternative for ceremonies when necessary.

The Red Oak Room at Cantigny Golf
The more intimate space of our Red Oak Room provides
a charming venue for your wedding reception. With
numerous windows overlooking Cantigny’s immaculate,
award-winning golf course and Swan Lake, there are
incredible views from every angle.
The Red Oak Room extends its reach with an exclusive,
uncovered patio that connects with the main dining
area. Here you and your guests can relax under the stars
and enjoy unobstructed views of the night sky in this
spacious area.
The flexible space of the Red Oak Room can be modified
to easily accommodate weddings of various sizes. Whether
you have 80 or 150 guests, multiple room configurations are
available to customize the space and ensure an intimate
and comfortable experience for you and your guests.
An adjoining covered patio overlooks pristine fairways
and is available for an additional fee. It can serve as the
ceremony site for couples choosing the Red Oak Room
for their reception venue. If your ceremony is planned for
one of our garden locations, this patio also serves as the
back-up site in the event of inclement weather.

At the time of booking:
Please advise us of a preliminary guest count. An initial nonrefundable deposit of $1,500 is
due at this time. You will receive your contract and a credit card authorization form.
S I X m o n t h s p r i o r t o y o u r e v e n t:
A general outline of food, beverage and setup will be discussed in order for Cantigny to
provide an estimate. At this time, a second deposit– 50% of the estimated total– is due for
Cantigny to continue the process of hosting your event. An appointment to discuss the menu
and other details will be done at this time.
T w o m o n t h s p r i o r t o y o u r e v e n t:
All menu changes will be due at this point. Please notify us of changes in guest count, room
set-up and any special needs such as audio visual equipment, special wines/champagnes
and specialty linens.
T e n d a y s p r i o r t o y o u r e v e n t: Final guest counts are due. You will be billed based on this count; unless, the number is
greater. 100% of the estimated total is due.
Da y o f y o u r e v e n t: At the end of your function, a final bill will be calculated. The credit card on file will be charged
for any additional guests, incidental cost or damages.
Entrée Selection:
You may choose two entrées to serve to your guests. In addition, vegetarian and children’s
meals may be served. When multiple entrées are served, the host is required to provide a place
card for each guest to display in front of each place setting. The place cards should clearly
display the guests’ entrée choices with a code of colors or shapes to ensure the correct entrées
are served in a professional manner. Cantigny’s culinary team is able to serve meals that meet
any special dietary needs. Please provide at least 10 days notice to ensure that our chef can
meet these special requests.
Tax a n d G r a t u i t y : A 7.25% sales tax is added to all food and non-alcoholic beverage prices. A 20% service charge
is added to your bill calculated on the total food and beverage amount.
Ca n c e l l a t i o n : If you cancel after your deposits have been received by Cantigny, your deposits will be
forfeited. In addition, any expenses incurred by Cantigny in preparation for a confirmed special
event become the responsibility of the guest.

Four spectacular gardens at Cantigny Park are available for
your wedding ceremony. Wedding ceremony rental fees include
chairs, set-up and a sound system with up to four microphones.
Rental of each site is for a maximum of two hours. Couples who
choose to have their reception at one of Cantigny’s two banquet
venues will receive a special, reduced fee for the rental of their
garden ceremony site.
In addition to the garden sites listed at left, brides choosing to
have their reception at the Red Oak Room at Cantigny Golf have
the option of using one of the two patios for their ceremony.

Patio I is a covered patio offering indoor protection with the
openness of the outdoors. The patio overlooks our beautiful
Swan Lake with a dramatic fountain as its centerpiece as well
as breathtaking views of the golf course.
Fee: $950 – Seats 110 guests
Patio ll is an open air patio offering an arched bridal arbor,
serving as the ceremony’s focal point, and a cascading water
feature to add gentle, soothing sounds. This patio is surrounded
by lush, flourishing planter boxes to further enhance its beauty
and serenity.
Fee: $750 – Seats 140 guests
In the Event of Inclement Weather
For couples hosting their reception at Le Jardin at Cantigny Park,
your ceremony will be moved inside the Gallery of the Visitors
Center if weather prohibits an outdoor ceremony. One floor
length drape is provided to cover the large painting in front of
the theater. If you prefer more draperies, six additional panels
are available for a $150 fee.
Couples not hosting their reception at Cantigny must have an
alternate site planned in the event of inclement weather. Cantigny
does not have additional indoor space available and tents may
not be set-up on the grounds. If weather prohibits an outdoor
ceremony and you are not having your reception at Cantigny,
you may cancel the ceremony 72 hours prior to the event and
receive a full refund. Ceremony fees are non-refundable within
72 hours of the event.
Ceremonies can be set up as early as 5 p.m. You can decorate
either patio in your wedding theme, including the bridal arbor.
Both sites include chairs, sound, set up and break down.
If you are planning on a garden wedding at Cantigny Park and
the weather does not permit an outdoor ceremony, the back-up
ceremony location can be either Patio l or space within the Red
Oak Room reception area.
