FROM THE HEADMASTER
This will be the last newsletter this term as we finish next Friday after Speech Day and
Prizegiving. You should all be receiving your invitations over the next few days and we look
forward to seeing you to celebrate the end of our school year.
Year 6 Leavers’ Day at Henley
We wish our Year 6 leavers who are attending the day at Henley Regatta, a fantastic time on
Sunday.
Next week
On Monday, we will be welcoming our new children for September at our visiting morning.
The children will all move to their new classes during the first two lessons. Year 6 will have
their Clan Water Polo Competition.
The Upper School Concert will take place on Wednesday afternoon from 2-4pm. I do hope
many of you will be able to come along to this.
Thursday will be our End of Term assembly plus Curtis Jobling will be running some
workshops for us during the day. The Upper School will be showing us their hidden talents at
the Talent Show in the afternoon!

Triathlon
I'm sure you'd all like to join me in thanking Richard and Vicki Coe and Neil Jackson for the
fantastic job they did organising the triathlon at the weekend! As Richard says:
“Wow, what a fantastic day we had on triathlon day. It was
amazing to see all the effort and commitment from the
children in getting round the courses. So very well done
children, we are very proud of you.
Many, many thanks to everyone who helped with the
triathlon, very much appreciated.
See you next year; we have lots of ideas for
improvements and would like to include Reception
children as well.”
Rich/Victoria Coe and Neil Jackson

The end of my first year as Chair seems to have come round quickly and what a year it's been!
Thank you so much to all who have supported the Society in so many different ways!
As usual at the end of a year, we are very sorry to be losing some members of the committee
through time at the school being over or work / home commitments changing and I would like
to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to Mik Samant who has worked really hard over
many years on the committee - THANK YOU!!
If you feel you are able to give up a couple of hours each month for our meetings and would
like to become more involved in organising events, please do get in touch - we are a small but
merry band and keen to grow!
Have a good summer holiday.
