New board members will be Spur of the Year and Business of the Year will be announced. A short power point presentation summarizing the year’s accomplishments will also be shown. One topic discussed was a plan to promote what is available at Brush merchants. One of the areas of discussion at the 2015 Planning Retreat was, What is the Chamber ―Main Street‖ Most Proud Of. A sample of some ideas presented follows: Save Our Sands Project; All America City; Main Street Graduate Level designation; amazing volunteers; historical interest from community; collaboration between City, Chamber, County; Main Street revitalization project.
