John Deer plays country with a rocking touch from the Classics like The Eagles, Allman
Brothers and Lynyrd Skynyrd up to Allen Jackson and Marty Stuart, Keith Urban, Brad
Pasley etc., aswell as a lot of own Songs.
The Band consists of expierienced professionals: an australian and three austrians, who have
and still are earning their spurs in different music groups like Tony Sheridan, The
Bluesbrakers, Sterz, Alkbottle, The Gang, Big Red etc.
As in the years before, we were on back in Australia this January, the home of our bass player
and lead singer, Brett. We played 17 Gigs in four Weeks and the highlight of this years tour
was once again the legendary Country Music Festival of Tamworth, the second biggest
Country Music Festival in the World, with 700 Artists and over 50000 Guests!
Currently, John Deer is working on a new CD, which we want to present to you this Autumn.
But before then, our new Single „Kommissar“ is coming out, a Country-Version of the
famous Falco-Hit from the 80s.
John Deer has won the most important Categories of the ACMF(Austrian Country Music
Federation)-Awards over the last Years, and are well established in the Austrian CountryScene.
We hope to keep it that Way, and maybe catch up with you at one of our Gigs! But until then:
