All horses MUST be left with a halter & lead rope or you WILL

Terms & Conditions
1-Mitchell Livestock and its associates act as agents only on all
sales and are not responsible for buyer/seller error or
misunderstanding.
2-Terms of the sale are cash or personal check
3- Every animal sells to the highest bidder with the auctioneer
settling any disputes, and his decision shall be final.
4- All perspective buyers must register for buyer number with the
clerks prior to the sale providing name, complete addres, phone
number and banking information.
5- Any change in catalog information will be announced from auction
block and will take precedence.
6- Any defects or bad habits must be called when the horse is sold.
Such as: Cribbers, lameness, or unsoundness
7- Be sure to inspect any horse of interest to your satisfaction
BEFORE you buy. A veterinarian is available prior to sale time to
answer any questions. When a horse leaves the ring all sales are
final.
8- After a horse is sold, it MUST be left with a halter and lead rope
or the seller will be charged a $10.00 fee.
9- Checks & registration papers will be issued after 7 days.

Alvin is a 14 yr old gray pony. He stands to be messed with and is always
willing to ride out. He loads great and backs off with ease. This little
pony is very well broke and can keep up with the big horses. He had
done ranch work until he came to our house. Our daughter has used him
in Mitchells rodeo parade and pulled him form the pen in December to
help move cows for the neighbor. Last weekend they gathered 200 pairs
for fall work. She has spent time with him in the arena giving rides to her little
brothers and teaching Alvin to jump. Alvin needs a rider that is able to ask for
what they want. Current on vaccinations including rabies.

This is a 6 year old gelding we bought from Fischer Farms 3 1/2 years ago. He
is an own son of Strait from Texas and had 120 days training him. This was my
sons horse and he has moved away to go to school and decided to sell him.
This horse has gone to the Black Hills where we would put 20 miles a day for a
week on him and had no problem. He will go through deep water good thing this
year. He hauls, clips, stands for the farrier. He has good ground manners. He
will lunge, trail a cow, has been Team Penning. We used him to move cattle
from pastures that were completly under water. He gets along well with other
horses or alone.

Sisco is a gorgeous dark palomino gelding, great ground manners. Has all the
qualities you want in a great cow horse. He is athletic, pretty mover, gorgeous, great
conformation & bred to be a cow horse. Sisco is easy to catch, trim, load, bath, quiet,
& very respectful. He has had 30 days of reining done on him, but due to an injury. I
had to turn him out for 8 months to recovery. He is healed and ready to go. Should
have some time put back on him before sale day.
Baton’s Baby “Penny” is a 5 year old bay TB mare who sells with Jockey Club
papers. Penny is a very kind, very broke mare that was lightly raced as a 3 year
old. She stands 14.2 hands tall. This mare is a 4-Her or trail riders dream . She
comes when called, stands quiet while tied, clips, and loads. She has been ridden
in the arena at home some and has also been on trail rides, most recently on a
long weekend in the river hills west of Platte. We have also used this mare to
gather pairs for fall work this past weekend, she crosses deep water and works
hard to help you get your work done. Penny is very eager to please and likes to
be used, however she is also a horse that can stand for a couple of months and
get right back to work without any hesitation. She is up to date on her
vaccinations including rabies. This mare will be ridden in the preview and papers
will be available the day of the sale.
