Dear Readers
It gives me immense happiness to launch
the first edition of “JODHAMAL
BULLETIN” an e-newsletter to keep all
stakeholders updated about the events
and happening in Jodhamal Public School.
This is a very convenient way of staying connected in this twenty first
century where we need to go green and avoid wasting the paper and
yet make you aware of all that is happening in the campus.
We wish to impart education which is not just about reading and writing
rather
developing and preparing the children with soft skills which will help
them to be prepared for life after school.
I am very happy to share with you all that not only in activities but our
students have also done and made us proud by giving the spectacular
performances both at X and XII level.

history by creating its second Guinness
World Record in three months. The
School hosted the Largest Greeting
Card in the World on 6th May 2016 at
the School Play Ground. Earlier, the
Largest Book Signing Record was
created at the School on 30th Jan 2016.

4th International Youth conference at

won the ‘BEST PRESENTATION
TROPHY’. Jodhamal Team presented a
documentary on ‘Save River Tawi’
which received immense appreciation.

and Silver Award participants
from Jodhamal Public School, Jammu
completed their Adventurous Journey at
Koti (Kufri) in Himachal Pradesh. An
Adventure camp, with a meaningful
purpose and a goal, was the finest idea
which was planned for their respite and
change in their outlook of the world.

SHINE IN NATIONAL TOURNAMENT
Jodhamal
participated and won three
matches in the 11th SP Sinha Memorial
Cricket Tournament at Dehradun, 32
teams
from
around
12
states
participated. Jodhamal Team impressed
everyone
by
their
dynamic
performance. The team was coached by
Jodhamal Cricket Coach, Mr Sukomal
Ganguly and Mr Akash Manhas.

12 Tournament which included the
students from class IV & V only. JMPS
won all the matches they played and

THE BIGGEST DEBATING
PHENOMENON

lifted
the
Biggest Delegation Trophy whereas GD
Goenka lifted the Small Delegation
Trophy for the 2015-16 season of Vox
Populi. There were almost 250 students
pitched against each other in a set of 14
different topics given to them and all
were found really well in their debating
skills.

great
enthusiasm. It was a solemn occasion
where the Students were all prepared to
don the mantle of leadership. Hasit
Sachdeva, the head boy and Navisha
Gupta, the head girl gave inspiring
speeches on this occasion.
INTER-SCHOOL SWIMMING
COMPETITION
The students of Jodhamal public school
brought laurels to the school by winning
GALAXY of medals. 14 Gold, 09 Silvers
and 07 Bronze Medals in the recently
held
Inter
School
Swimming Competition.

is a fierce competition amongst the
students representing the four houses.
The Winning’s Trophy in the junior
division bagged by the Invention House
and the Runner’s up trophy was grabbed
by the Enterprise House.
INTER HOUSE DANCE
An
Inter-House Dance Competition was
organized by Jodhamal Public School where
Enterprise house bags the Winner Trophy. The
theme of the competition was “Indian Folk
Dances’. This show was adjudged by the
parents of the newly inducted Prefect Council
and Honorable Simrandeep Singh, The Deputy
Commissioner of Jammu division, was the
Chief Guest.
