history teacher, Campbell is the
Creative Director and Master
Stylist for the award-winning La
Jolie Salon & Spa in Princeton,
New Jersey. Campbell is very
passionate about every aspect
o f t h e i n d u s t r y, i n c l u d i n g
color, formal styling/finishing,
re-texturizing, and salon business
building.
Valerie Frazee has been a stylist for
over 14 years, but she didn’t start
out that way. Originally on her way
to college for acting, Valerie got
bit ten by the hair “bug” while
assisting with hair and make up for
s ta g e. S h e to o k a b re a k f ro m
college to attend cosmetology
school, and never looked back!
Since 2010, Valerie has been traveling
the US sharing the L’ANZA message,
and she continues to become one
of L’ANZA’s go-to Healing Artists.
Healing Artist Vernon Fuentes began
his industry career over 20 years ago
in Miami, Florida. Now a resident of
Denver, Colorado, Vernon specializes
in precision cutting, Keratin Straightening

VERNON: On wet hair, spray Thickening
Treatment Spray and comb through. Next,
add Root Effects where you want more lift.
Then using your fingers, power-dry the hair,
pulling it straight out from the head. When
it’s 70% dry, use desired round brush and
voila – big, sexy, bouncy hair!

The Decolorizer formula was applied in slices around the back and sides,
as well as a “headband” section behind the front hairline. Hair was
processed to pale blonde, then rinsed. The Violet Highlights formula was
applied in foils to lightened hair, on the front fringe only; Copper Highlights
formula was applied in foils to remaining lightened hair. The Base Color
formula was applied to all hair around foils. After color process, hair was
cleansed and conditioned, then misted with Magic Bullet to lock in color.
