Youth Group Independence Day Camp Out!
On Monday night, July 7th, show up at Jeff and Heather s house at
6pm or meet at the church at 5:30pm for the biggest, baddest,
awesomest one-night campout EVER! Bring your clothes, swim suit,
sleeping bag, and some chips or cookies or food of some sort. ALSO!
Since it s an all-nighter, no youth are allowed to drive home in the morning it s a
safety thing. We ll be dropping you off at your house in the Church Van.
Nashville Mission Trip
The Youth Group will be gone from July 20-26 on their mission trip.
Please pray for the youth, the leaders, safe travels, good weather, and
God s Presence or anything else that God lays on your hearts.

MINISTRY OF YOUTH RELATIONS MEETINGS WILL NOW MEET
THE 3RD TUESDAY OF EACH MONTH @ IWU.
THE MONTHLY
FOCUS ON WORSHIP
During July, the Worship Team will be sponsoring a special
discussion on opportunities to improve and enhance our worship
experiences. Prior to this time you are invited to submit your
observations and suggestions on our existing worship and visions
for our worship in the future.
Your comments may be submitted to the church office or placed in a basket in
the Narthex. The Worship Team would like to invite anyone who is interested to
attend the discussions beginning on Tuesday, July 8th at 7 pm in the Sojourner
classroom.
Church In The Park
This is a joint activity sponsored by First Christian Church and several other local
churches. . It will be a Combined Service full of excitement and fellowship between
the different churches and an outreach to the community.

Finance Committee has begun working on our 2009
Budget. If there are items that you feel need to be
added, contact a board member or notify the church.
School Supplies
CWF will begin collecting school supplies
August 3rd and August 10th. The donated
items will go to Kendall Elementary School.
HEALTH CONCERNS:
Bill Simmons was in MGH this month undergoing
tests; Paul Ragsdale, going though more tests; Scott
Harvey, recent stay in St. Vincent with heart problems,
Esther Oatess, home after being in the hospital; Karrie
Ronk, Ron & Mary Lou s daughter-in-law, home
recovering from major surgery.
Our prayers and sympathy to Ruby Robertson and
family upon the death of her husband, Howard.

We would like to thank everyone who helped with
VBS. You all are the reason VBS is successful and we
appreciate you taking time out of your busy schedules to
work with the children. It is always a busy week but a
fun week.
