Marshall Multispread has built a strong reputation in Australian agriculture as the number one selling all-purpose fertiliser spreader with
over 8000 machines in the field.
Constantly evolving over the past 30 years to keep up with the demands of modern farming the 8 and 10 tonne trailer models are a
handy spreader for large sized enterprises. The 8 and 10 trailer models are offered in two different configurations; the economically
priced chain/belt feed 800 Series and the 900 Series with it’s higher-spec endless feed belt.

(1) 800 Series, Models 880T and 810T - Standard Equipment.
The feed system on the 800 Series machines includes a 2ply rubber belt attached to a high grade calibrated 10mm chain and drive
sprockets, supported by wear resistant nylon skids ensuring a positive drive. The standard spinner drive is via the tractor PTO (with
hydraulic spinner drive available as a popular option).
(2) 900 Series, Models 980T and 910T - Standard Equipment.
With it’s endless belt feed system the 900 Series has a proven record for long service life and lower torque requirement from the ground
drive. The belt is a heavy duty fabric woven PVC, driven by an industrial grade rubber-lagged pulley and supported by low maintenance
stainless steel rollers. To aid belt tracking, troughing rollers are fitted inside the chassis and a crowned front pulley is used for quick and
easy adjustment. Hydraulic drive spinners with electronic tacho are standard.
(3) D Type Spinner - Standard on all 8 & 10 tonne Models.
The D Type spinner configuration has an overall diameter of 700mm, with four vanes, two short and two long and a stainless steel
fertiliser chute for optimum placement of product onto the spinner discs. Spread widths of up to 36m between passes for fertilisers such
as Urea, DAP and Superphosphate and up to 14m for non granulated materials like Lime and Gypsum can be achieved. Minimal adjustment to spinner set-up is required when changing from granulated to non granulated products. All testing during the development of the
D Type spinners was carried out to Australian Industry standards.
(4) Ground Feed & Application Rates
A rubber jockey wheel, 20:1 gearbox and combination of 4 sprocket sets provide an application rate range between 20kg/ha and 8000kg/
ha at any ground speed that suits your paddock conditions. Simple rate charts for popular fertilisers are provided to minimise calibration
time.
