Professor Edward Larson is a history professor at Pepperdine University, and Pulitzer Prize winning
author who has written 9 books. Larson has also practiced law in Seattle and served as counsel for
the U.S. House of Representatives. His latest book titled, “The Return of George Washington” 1783-1789 has been critically acclaimed by both the New York Times and the Wall Street Journal.
His book and lecture covers a crucially important, yet almost always overlooked chapter of
George Washington’s life, revealing how Washington saved the United States by coming
out of retirement to lead the Constitutional Convention and serve as our first president.
