Local “SuperNanny” embarks on San Dieg o Tour
Serving as a mentor mom and keynote
speaker for mom’s groups and through
Babies ‘R Us, Suzy shares her knowledge
and experience with parents all over
southern California and across the country.
She is a parenting consultant who helps
parents locally with various parenting
issues from sleep, breastfeeding, discipline,
and feeding as well as to parents across the
nation. She is a local Supernanny! Suzy
also writes a monthly column (“Family
Matters”) for the Event News, has been featured in Parenting Magazine, the OC Register,
appears at Barnes and Noble book signings, and does an average of 15 live radio
interviews per month across the country as a celebrity parenting expert.
Suzy’s book Enjoying the Ride: A Parenting Journey from Birth to Ten is the culmination
of her passion to help parents everywhere. In an easy-toread style that equips and inspires parents to handle over 20
different parenting issues, readers will find this one-of-akind parenting resource to be the one that is most frequently
pulled off the shelf and dog-earred. It’s a “quick start
manual” for parenting that should have come with the
baby.With this book in parents’ hands, they are sure to enjoy
the ride of parenting.
Suzy holds an Advanced Bachelor’s degree in Liberal
Studies from Occidental College, a Multiple Subject
Teaching Credential, a lifetime California Language
Development Certificate, and a Masters in Education,
specializing in language acquisition. For over 25 years, she
has been caring for children in the classroom, in her home
childcare, through her parenting consultation service, and
with her three daughters.
Due to popular demand from Mops groups and Barnes and Nobles throughout the county,
author and parenting consultant, Suzy Martyn, is making her way south this spring break.
