With this thought in mind, we welcome into the Community of St. Peter Church those who were recently baptized: Evalyn Claire & Francesca Kate Capuano Zachary Daniel Laskey Carmen Anthony Paponetti Ellis Patrick Ruvolo Brody Hoffner TWENTY- SECOND SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME A special ‘ad hoc’ committee meeting is to be held on Monday, August 29. As a result, the regular Tuesday, August 30 meeting of St Peter Parish Council is postponed. A few days ago, Fr. Ronald Klingler met with his parish council to discuss the status of the collaborative effort of our two parishes. Fr. Klingler and his council felt that this would be a good time for a meeting of our two parish councils to mutually discuss this important topic. To have a more manageable meeting for this discussion, it was decided that each pastor would select three members of his parish council to form this ‘ad hoc’ committee meeting. These six representatives along with each pastor will meet on Monday August 29, 7pm at St Peter Rectory. Since this is a special meeting of St Peter Parish Council that will replace our regularly scheduled August meeting, I have asked Kathy Sims, our council secretary to attend this meeting. She will not be one of our representatives, but will be there to record the highlights of our ‘ad hoc’ meeting so that a complete informative report can be given to our parish council membership. This report will be given at our September 27 meeting. If warranted, we may move the meeting to an earlier September date. Fr. Klinger has sent a letter to Bishop Murry to inform him of our meeting.
