STEWARDSHIP THOUGHT: “For behold, some are
last who will be first and some are first who will be last.”
Our standards in our society are so different from God’s
standards. We often rate or rank people by what they
have, how powerful they are, or how successful they are.
Jesus reminds us that God will not judge us by the same
earthly standards.

THANK YOU for your financial support!
August “School Support” Envelope – The beginning of the year
can be costly for many families. Our Parishioner families that
attend St. Peter School have the added expense of tuition—so
when they have a financial emergency, sometimes they need extra
help. In the past, we have waived partial lunch balances or after
care balances. Through YOUR generosity to this fund (similar to
the Parish Assistance Program), we are better able to assist
families without hurting the income of the school. Your support
is greatly appreciated and our students are EVER thankful of your
ongoing support of St. Peter School.
St. Peter Choir We are looking for
additional members for our St. Peter Choir.
If you love to sing and would like to join the
choir, please contact Bobby Sullivan at (330)
454-8044 ext 201. Practice is on
Wednesdays at 6:30pm in the church, and
begins September 14th!
Save the Date! Catholic Charities Serving Portage and Stark
Counties will be hosting Fall into Giving with Men Who Cook, a
fundraising event to benefit Stark County’s programming on
Saturday, October 8 from 6pm-9pm at Walsh University. Hope
to see you there!
