Martin County LEADERship Alumni hosts comedy show for scholarships
Stuart – 4 national comedians will perform at the Lyric Theatre Sat., May 24 at 6 and 8:30 p.m. to fund the
Martin County Youth Leadership Scholarship. Hank Western and friends Brad Trackman, Mike Rivera, and
Johnny Mac will perform at both shows, sponsored by the headlining sponsor McCarthy, Summers, Bobko, Wood,
Norman, Bass, and Melby, P.A.
“We’re excited to bring comedy to the Lyric. The shows will be a lot of fun and the money raised will help high
school graduates pursue a college education,” said Carl Newton, president of the Martin County Alumni Leadership
and co-chair of the event. “This is a great event for LEADERship Martin County Alumni and the student leaders
of our area,” said Jason Berger, board member and co-chair of the event.
Tickets for the show are available online at www.lyrictheatre.com and at the Lyric Theatre’s Box Office. Red Carpet
sponsors include Keiser University, Seacoast National Bank Wealth Management and the Law Office of Jason
Berger. Sponsorships are still available and only sponsors will attend a special VIP party before the 6 p.m. show.
“This is my first time back on stage after 19 months off because of a lengthy battle with cancer. Although I’ve
performed all over the country, I’m excited that my return to the stage will be in Martin County because I’ve never
performed in there,” said Hank Western.
Western said he knows this will be a great show because the stars are some of the best in the business.
