crossing at MM 99.7
Over the last decade, there has been
an increase in destination weddings.
Destination weddings are held where
neither the bride or the groom lives or
necessarily has family.
Your wedding is one of the most
memorable days of your life. Your dress,
his tuxedo, where to have the ceremony,
a place for the reception, and don’t forget
the honeymoon. Why not combine
them and create the perfect destination
wedding?
When Cupid shoots his “love arrows”,
many of them seem to be aimed at Key
Largo. Every year more and more couples
are saying their “I do’s” in an alternative
romantic tropical setting, and Key Largo
has many to offer.
Your choice of venues could include a
pier or private beach with breathtaking
sunsets, an outdoor terrace overlooking
the fabulous Florida Bay or Atlantic
Ocean, or perhaps poolside, accompanied
by cascading waterfalls and colorful
tropical foliage. The ideas and locations
for your special day in Key Largo are
endless.

The newly installed crosswalk in Key
Largo at mile marker 99.7 alerts drivers
of pedestrians using the pathway with
flashing yellow lights on each side of the
divided highway and in the median.
The flashing yellow lights, indicates
to both the pedestrian and drivers to
advance with caution. If the crosswalk is
clear of pedestrians, a car can go through.
Drivers should always exercise caution
when approaching the pedestrian
crossing and pedestrians should
always keep an eye out for traffic when
attempting to cross the street.
